don't fall for it. exchanges or people who are stating that they sell coins way below market value are mostly scammers. legit exchanges mostly only have $2 - $5 difference in price.

Wrong. Direct trading exchanges offer lower price than real time exchanges. Those are not scam.

You can try LocalBitcoins, I have seen on very few occasions some people selling their coins cheaper than the market place but only deal with established traders and avoid trading with payment processors which can be charged-back such as Paypal.

I can't speak for USD, but I did some research for EUR, GBP and SGD. For those currencies my preferences are:

EUR: Kraken (great exchange if you're European, not such much for Americans)
GBP: Cryptopay (accepts EUR and GBP; very good rates, though a 1% fee applies)
SGD: itBit (free SGD withdrawal and dirt-cheap deposit, if you happen to have a Singaporean bank account...)

Thank you guys for the information. I live in the U.S. I find coinbase to be slightly cheaper than circle, however generally I just been buying on there and re-investing and re-selling on btcjam and localbitcoins. When I seen someone buying for such a cheap price, I obviously wanted to know if there was something im missing! haha

The revolution will be monetized!
I would also be skeptical of unusually cheap coins. It could be a good deal, but it could also be a scam.

You did not mention from which country you are. But, www.100bit.co.in might appear as a good choice. Their trading fee is 0.1%.

I seen someone post earlier that they were buying bitcoin at 160 today but would not specify where. Although this is extremely unlikely, does anyone know where I can buy bitcoin at what seems to be a very cheap price.
