Nowadays I think the biggest problem is to open the account at all. I am trying to do this with Gdax for a week now, the automatic face verification tool is simply not working. Bitfinex and ItBit is not taking new clients at all and I heard that Bitstamp is processing new clients for weeks on months.

Globitex, if you can open the account in one day, process the payments fast and provide good support - you will fly high

Only in a few things, like the fees, the time that they take in order to proccess the withdrawals, the volume of all the coins, and the most important thing; the quality of their support team.

Agree with the speed of withdrawal and volume. Then consider the fee structure. I'd pay more for faster execution.

In other words, you would like the ability to set your own fee upon withdrawal? Do you know of any exchanges offer this now?

First crypto index traded as a token!
The exchange should be easy and quickly accessible. Now it happens far too many times that the exchange is down. Exchanges should be trustworthy, an exchange like bittrex is unacceptable. Your id should also be safe.

the first thing which is mandatory is trust and transparency.

right now most exchanges, specially the biggest ones like poloniex and bittrex are not to be trusted. you can see how bittrex scammed a lot of their users and simply robbed them in broad daylight!
this needs to change, regulations can help with this issue so that legal actions can be taken against these exchanges that scam people this easily.

and for exchanging cryptcurrencies the only good option is decentralized exchanges. otherwise no matter how many features you add, in the end the exchange is going to scam and run away. all the good experience is not worth the final scam.

One could argue that the lack of regulatory compliance and oversight is a big reason why some crypto exchanges end up shutting down, misusing customer funds, etc.

Im much concerned in exchanges fees the lower the better or no any fees at all like the other new exchange site offering zero fees but still in beta, another is the speed some exchanges are very slow loading in some peak hours, another is being a decentralized and lastly the gui is also an important factor of an exchange simple but functional is better.

Although every exchange charges commissions, our exchange (Globitex) doesn't charge commissions yet because we are still acquiring new clients. I invite you to check us out Smiley we are currently offering 0% fee trading for bitcoin and bitcoin cash against euros.

Later on we will start charging commissions on a par or better with our competition. Our goal is to list commodities (such as gold) to be traded for bitcoin. By the time this is a reality, we will be charging a normal trading fee commission. Typical exchange fee is 0.2% per trade but with the Globitex GBX token, you will have the ability to pay (redeem) for trades made on the Globitex exchange and enjoy a greater discount.

One and only, no ID verification surely!

An exchange that never requires ID verification shows a disregard for international AML/CTF standards. How can you trust that your funds are safe on such an exchange?

I keen on UI design, it should be user friendly, secondly it should procide liquidity , thirdly no any problems with withdraw and security. One last thing is that exchange should allow members influence on taking decisions, based on polls.

I think by the same way as the other users too, the fees are one of the most important things, of course.

The volume that the market has, if there is active people buying and selling in there.

The support.

The tokens that they are adding/going to add.

And if there are good references about that exchange all over the internet.

-Various coins to choose. Great gui trading charts with lots of options for better understanding which cryptocurrency is uptrend and downtrend.
-I think most the exchanging sites have all the features to assist traders what coin to choose.
-sticking with at least two exchanges i think with the most secured accessibility.
-not yet, so far so good
-well there are times that I lost in a trade, but most of the time I make sure that I picked a potential coin so I think my experience was good.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts. Some questions to expand and spark discussion:

-What are the must-have features and functionalities you look for when considering a new exchange (or that have made you loyal to your current exchange)?
-Are there any features on your "wish list" that you have been unable to find on any exchange? Or features that you feel are missing from most exchanges today?
-Do you currently use several different exchanges or stick with just one? Why is this the case?
-Has any event or change caused you to leave an exchange and take your business elsewhere? If so, what?
-How would you rate your level of trading experience?

Actually i dont have many wishing list before deciding to use any exchange. I just need many choice of altcoins.
One thing that i really need is i dont want my money stuck when i want to withdraw. So i want only reputable exchange.

The revolutionary AI gaming ecosystem
Must have a decent interface that isn't confusing and details all pertinent information, and I use whatever exchange has the coins I have certainly not limited to 1 or 2 exchanges. However, I do enjoy using Binance nowadays and that is because I lost interest in Poloniex website when they took 4-5 months to verify me. That is the only experience that caused me to stop trading at any one exchange the rest have been good to me and have had no issues with. I would say I am still a newbie level of trading although some would say I am intermediate based on my skill set. Either way I aspire to be a professional and one of the best who ever traded cryptos

Its not about the features of a trading platform but more on support and speed in processing requests. This has been the issue raised by traders from former Poloniex user that migrated to Bittrex and now Bittrex users are migrating to other platform like Binance because tickets are left unanswered or ignored and specially those account that was closed without any update as to when and how it can be activated again.
