It's not just the decentralization. I think it being it's own payment system and not relying on a third party who takes expensive fees is its biggest selling point though.

And why is this in alt coin discussion?  Undecided

Have you tried sending cash to someone thousands of miles away seemingly anonymous?

What a silly question.

     If no internet:
        - You could not transfer Bitcoin.
        - You could not get FIA of any bank.
        - You could not use the mobile phone
        - You could not watch TV.
        - You could not enjoy other amenities hundred

not as critical as the above but would also be affected without internet
        - You could not put gas in your car.
        - You could not go to the supermarket to buy food.

At least in the world where I live, clear that without all these amenities would have no problem with the fact that there is no internet.

Yes, bitcoin would not be valuable at all if somehow the Internet went away.  Lots of things would become invalid though, not just Bitcoins.

Hard to imagine the world without the internet today.  Don't see it happening.

The whole point (or not) is that there is no owner and it's decentralized. Some people use bitcoin because they don't trust banks or dislike them. What happens with Bitcoins when the internet ceases to exist for whatever reason, it will be rendered invalid right?
