It used to have the scrolling transaction screens,
This functionality is still there, (like pretty much all old features) just buried deep within the site.
There is ADVANCED VIEW ON/OFF switch available on main wallet page, it will show you some additional graphs.

If you want to see live updating list of new bitcoin transactions + number of unconfirmed transactions just visit this page:
https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

It used to have the scrolling transaction screens
There is no any use of having live transaction feed and it actually slows down the site. But if you like to view live bitcoin transactions in fancy way than visit this sites http://fiatleak.com/ , http://bitcointicker.co/transactions/ and https://bitbonkers.com/

I agree in blockchain.info navigation really sux it seems as you need to look for the thing that you want not in the header or the footer of the site but somewhere in between, links to unconfirmed transactions/double spends/orphan blocks/big transactions/popular addresses, etc shouldn't be in any page but rather in both header and footer of all the pages. I hate that cat when you type something like /Transactions that cat pops up saying "I didn't touch anything" Cheesy
I shouldn't have to manually type blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions in the address bar of my browser they need at least to include these things in a drop down menu again in header and footer of website.

to the blockchain.info site??

It used to have the scrolling transaction screens, plus all the bitcoin news. Now it's completely useless. What have they done? Is someone else hosting the old site?

thanks.
You could never scroll the transactions page because transactions were constantly being added to the network and you can still see it wallet/#/Transactions.

If that happened with the transactions that you have, well you must be having a problems with your current network and also traffic is there in the site. I personally experienced that scenario but no choice and wait forthe problem to be fixed by the network admins. This will normally happen in the blockchain because of lot of people doing the same transactions along the web network.

They have recently upgraded their site layout including wallet interface and homepage.
You can find all bitcoin related news under https://blockchain.info/markets
You can find bitcoin statistics for last 24 hour here https://blockchain.info/stats
And like before homepage still shows recently mined blocks with details.

Familiar with the site index or site directory? It was always present in most of the sites. Maybe you should explore first and and just asked question if you really can't find which I doubt that is really a hard thing to find.

As suggested by the poster above me, and it's easy to locate, browse the site and go the lower portion of it. About the transaction screens, well it was changed since the site is modified.
