Nothing at all! I am surprised to see no comments have been made of cryptocurrency in this year's budget! I at least expected to hear about the upcoming G20 legislation to come into effect but none whatsoever.

However, I believe we will hear some update very soon because all member countries of G20 have agreed to follow the recommendations of FATF. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Glad that bitcoin was not brought up in the budget else everything was just negative. More custom duty (from 10 to 12.5%), petrol and diesel prices increased by Rs. 1, charging fee on cash withdrawals above 1cr, more taxes on high salaried people and this proves that they tried making middle-class happy before the elections just to ruin everything after it.
After G20 summit 2019 ..we have hope that bitcoin come with new regulation and taxation principles

In this budget many announcements have been made from tax to infrastructure. As we all were expected to heard something about crypto or blockchain but sadly I can say their is not single statement about crypto or blockchain. When the budget speech began, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave special emphasis on Digital India but she did not mention about crypto or blockchain. She mentioned following points about Digital India :-
1- Increasing the Internet connectivity and Internet service provider
2- Information about toilets on Google Maps has been uploaded.
3- Youth will be able to get higher earning jobs in other countries, so government encouraging skills related to artificial intelligence, big data, iOT and robotics in the youth.
4-  Startup Programs will be started on Doordarshan where all information related to startup will be given.
5- Every Panchayat will be connected to the internet.
6- New Space India Limited will be set up to help ISRO projects.
7- Business incubator will be established.
8- Online loan facility will also be provided.
9- GST rate on electric vehicle will be reduced from 12 percent to 5 percent
