There are some alternative tools that can help you to find the average price in every minute. Preev was down during a day but now it works flawlessly.

Why not just a portfolio app on mobile or a extension on browser from any number of feeds? It's not like you really need the accuracy, unless you're a full-time trader (if you were, then you surely have a swathe of other options anyway).

P.S. Every hour? You greenhorns. The people I know that use Preev primarily use the site for its simplicity compared to other sites like Coinmarketcap or Bitcoinwisdom.io(or .com). There's obviously places where more information is available, but a site like preev is sufficient if you're just taking a peek at prices and you're not interested in further details on price movements. I personally like the interface and I've made several sales on this forum with the rate Preev provided me at the time of sale.

Preev is online again as what I see and maybe they are developing something or they host preev.com at heroku? Since heroku has free service maybe they host preev there.

I think @OP you can monitor bitcoin price in other site like Coinmarketcap and Coingecko because you can also see the other altcoin price movement.
Or if you want a live movement you can try this one cryptowat.ch

That's pretty much what I was guessing too. Not even referral links or promotions. and I don't even remember Preev.com having a donation address.

I observed that the site's SSL was down like months ago every time I visit the site, it gives me some security private warning related to its SSL though I don't mind the error and still use it.
So most probably, the app is now abandoned for lack of finance support? as I see there's no ads on the site so the owner/dev will just depend on the donation given to its donation address.

Yes its down. Mostly be the case but lets see if the site would be up once again.I've been using this site on checking btc price.
