Topic: What happened to the first block? (Read 430 times)
The Genesis block can't actually be spent because there is no reference block to validate the coins. I'm not sure about the coins sent to the address afterwards. I would think that they could be.

I am just wandering what happened to the first mined block of BTC back in those days? Is it mined only by Satoshi or is shared with other miners? How much time it took to mine it and with what computer? Some interesting facts which i never saw on the network...
