Your ingenuity Has convinced me to believe that i am a "Skid". However i must argue with your definition of a hacker. If you must know, the term hacker was first used in the 1960's for a person who trespassed on roofs who had no business being there. Later it was adopted by some university and used to describe programmers who would sit at their computer all night long and get their program to work perfectly. Then it was used in the model train station industry as model train modifications. Afterward, Computer programmers picked it up and used it to describe the using or modification of a computer program or computer circuit to be used in an unorthodox manner. With the release of the movie "Hackers" In 1995, it was changed to crackers, or cyber criminals. Perhaps it is you who needs to learn what a hacker is.
i go by the definition o a person who uses an object in a way it was not intended for.
Of Course i can "hack" or "crack" a password, but i can also "hack" My environment by doing parkour. Technically, that is what hacking is. Also, the root of the word was used in 4000 BC when criminals would break into library and "Hack" off the letters to manuscripts which were carved in stone.
For your information there is a search option by username. Also, who says the definition "the appropriate application of ingenuity" doesn't fit the above described? As a matter of fact you are getting better right now. I am going to stop calling you an skiddie for now. Also, you might want to see the movie Wargames; It is as relevant as Hackers.
