Some people are afraid of dying because they think they're gonna be stuck alone forever without a body.
A few theories:
1. It won't be trillions of years that you perceive. Think about the time before you were born, its the same as what happens when you die. There are no neurons firing that give you the illusion of consciousness. The certain arrangement of neurons and information stored in the brain are what make you 'you.' Eventually, in an unimaginable amount of years, you will exist again, but you won't have any memory or concept of anything before and between. You've probably existed an infinite amount of times, but you would never know. It just happens over and over again.
2. Reincarnation exists but is limited to your genetic line. Which means ONLY if you have children, your recessive conscious imprint will reemerge 3 or 4 generations down the line.
3. You know what's even more scary than death?
Knowing that death is a paradox, and that, by pure chance, you'll still be conscious even in a trillion years.
Actually, you're not beyond it, and there is no soul.
It's simply physically impossible to die from your subjective perspective. You'll notice this soon enough.
You're forced to stay here f o r e v e r. Nobody can free you from this curse.
The mechanics behind this are basically impossible for me to convey, but that doesn't matter, since everyone will eventually realize how it works by themselves.
Once you "get it", it's really easy to understand why you can't die.
After all, you have an eternity to understand it.
(This is the reason for the mentally ill thing).
4. As long as there is a desire to be reborn, you will be reborn. It's a vicious cycle which we must leave
5. Once you don’t need to worry about money you have all the time to be spiritually enlightened. Death isn’t so scary when you realize that it’s normal, and happens to all things that live. You can accept your place in the circle of life. The only scary part is thinking how painful it’ll be, but there’s no use worrying your whole life for a single moment.
6. It's a simulation. You are not alive. Your consciousness is barely unique and only incrementally different from those most like you. Take solace in the knowledge that it will be more efficient to run the seed of your consciousness again, once your instance is done. "You" will not die, but there will be times when you no longer exist. "You" are a data structure.
7. Kill your ego: lsd, mushrooms, dmt
you will no longer fear death and realize (You) is just an illusion and that death is just a transition
8. There is a possibility that quantum immortality might be real. The basic idea is that if the many-worlds interpretation is correct, then "you" always survive in some realities no matter how slim of a chance it is, and your subjective stream of consciousness continues on forever.

Once you are conscious you cannot ever die EVER, your body will die but you are Eternal. your counsciousness is Eternal. we most likely created this world ourselves to experience a physicial world with physical laws because we were bored of being Eternal counsciousness. The best thing to do is to realise you wanted this, religion and shit like this are all lies to keep you in fear. you came here to experience and have fun basically. just do whatever the fuck you want and enjoy the world you created for your own entertainment.
