I did the exact same thing yesterday. Luckily it was only .25 BCC as I was trying out a wallet. I have a feeling that if the transaction is under $5k then it's goodnight.   Undecided

it's pretty obvious how this will work

BCC addresses are the same as BTC
means if you will sent BCC to BTC address your's BCC will end up on somebody's else BCC account. And it will be completely different person than owner of the BTC address.

Would be very funny to generate fresh address and immediatelly have some BTC/BCC on them because people will sent to wrong addresses all the time Cheesy

its pretty obvious you're wrong, if you have read it correctly this is a exchange wallet, So, the same seed/key works either with BTC or BCC, and they are refusing to release it to me to retrieve the locked coins in theoretically my wallet address bound with the bittrex account.

Some exchanges charge a fee of 0.1 or something  because it is very labor intensive.
Two Bitcoins is just madness, in years to come, addresses will be generated in the hope to find mis-send coins.

I think i read in their twitter that they will not help anymore if you send bcc to btc address or vice versa. but you can still try emailing their support or filing a ticket. Good luck.

As far as I know the two coins use the same address generating method so the private key of the BTC address you have sent the coins to can be used to get the same address on BCH.

The problem is if you sent coins to an address that you don't own the private key to.
