Speculators stuck on Gox will switch to other exchanges once they are allowed to pull their funds out of Gox.

A few moron whales will stay on Gox because they are too clumsy to move.

Other exchanges will start to have problems with the influx of new customers.

New exchanges will spring up, hopefully learning lessons from those that failed.

Gox will slowly fade into oblivion.

yes i understand gox price would go to the moon, but BTC-e + stamp prices are the topic sir Smiley
Prices will dip momentarily on other exchanges due to the influx of scared people leaving Gox that haven't already, eventually we will see a new ATH as bitcoin will have survived its biggest test yet!

+1 I hope

Other exchanges will dip due to the fact that people run from GOX and push btc/fiat into any other exchange for any price (FEAR). MtGOX will plummet and other exchanges will skyrocket.
Once MtGOX floods with people who want the cheap coins (GREED) it will go back up too.

Hopefully this results in a bull market due to rising prices, causing bitcoin to go back into the TO DA MOON! mode Smiley.

Been talked about a lot already but I saw a fair bit of price whiplashing (bad for leveraged traders) but ultimately Gox withdrawals would exert increased selling pressure on Bitcoin coming from both high risk arbitrage investors and exasperated long term holders of Bitcoin wanting out.

Will happen soon... To the moon on Gox. People will wish they bought cheap coins based of fear, Buy fear, sell the news!

Buy fear, sell biafore bullish forecasts!

Gox will almost certainly limit BTC withdrawals to no more than a few coins per day/week/month for at least a couple of months.

Up.
Prices everywhere have been depressed by all the bad news and uncertainty of the past month. Good news = up. Right after good news would be the worst time to sell.

Gox will of course go up much faster initially, as people buy and pull their coins out.

There will not be any massive dumping of coins on other exchanges, because it will not take a lot of volume on gox to go back to the normal price level (nobody in their right mind will sell <$600) , so opportunities for arbitrage will be very limited. People that -already- bought $100 coins are going to hodl to the moon, it would be senseless to dump on another exchange only to buy back higher during the inevitable upwards ramp.
