the crash will be soon? I think a crash has occurred starting in early 2018 until now. Accidents do not have to be predicted right away, now if you see prices throughout the exchange on cryptocurrency the price has decreased dramatically. the right thing to do is buy a crypto that has the potential at a low price and it can stabilize prices in the foreseeable future.

This accident or collision had no effect on crypto because crypto was different from FIAT, which in the FIAT concept was regulated by banks as government employees, when there was a price decrease while crypto was a transparent transaction and there were no brokers, so we just waited for the pump to happen so the price changed

We now have an additional economy in the form of crypto and if you do simple math in all the existing wealth in the world, you can say that if the market cap is down in both stocks and forex, you know where it will go. Bonds and other derivatives lol. Yes crypto. But this space needs a little news for that so you know that if there are some moves in some exchange, there's a big pump coming.

Obviously, the price will go down hard but it doesn't mean its the end of crypto. Might take months or year to recover though.

Its going to be another global disaster. The last time we have such incident is 2008. It's gonna be hard but we can all survived it. I have a theory that crypto will be a test if its really a good hedge for economic disasters as most of us have been arguing for years. There are few isolated incidents though, one in Venezuela and the other is Zimbabwe and it was reported that crypto specially bitcoin somewhat help them hedge their well on crypto as store of value. So let's see.

If it does so crypto should be a safe harbour becaus crypto should be opponent to Fiat money like banks and fonds. Also can it seen a a different type of gold, gold always was good during crisis.

I am not sure what you are referring to as a crash, but whichever way you want to put it, most of the things that happens in a crash most of the time, is to just see the shit coins paving the way in the market and never recovering afterwards. A crash does not just happen as something would possibly have to instigate it, but whichever way it is, I know it is bound to happen at some point and even though some may not see it as a crash, but just a normal downtrend and take advantage of it to buy the dips of projects with prospect, I believe it would be something that would help clean the space hugely.

Crypto crashing does not necessarily mean bitcoin crashing.

Trust me, you do not want to see what would happen to the altcoins when bitcoin starts a bull run and I wonder why you guys tend to pay so much attention on social media anyway, it is not like they can tell you categorically what would be happening exactly.

Nevertheless, I believe we will definitely tend to see a huge crash for the altcoins pretty soon and the thing that happens is that, it is usually the time, when some are tagged with a R.I.P sign as there is no way the project would be able to get out of it afterwards. Like someone said, it is more like seeing the space being cleaned up.

When people realize the bank and Fiat market crash then some of them will go to crypto, so it maybe beneficial for crypto if the bank crash down, but it depends on numerous factors whether people will jump to crypto or not, but if the crash is hard I am sure a lot of people will find alternative to invest

Like those years where the market crashed for a very long time and what happened next? it went to a bull run and reached the highest that it can. This year seem to be slow but that's it, there's a reason why the market moves slowly to the point that we don't like it.

Institutional money hasn't come in so wait for them to come, the market has been squeezed and profit sharers took their money for a while. And while we're on the dip they just did what they practice and that is buying while its on the dip. Bull run seems to be slow and hasn't showed itself but it will show signs soon.

Yeah i guess we should really prepare for the worst. Im just not feeling all that positive looking into the future. The collapse in 2008 really hit people hard in a lot of cases people still havent fully recovered from that event. Another crash of similar magnitude or worse, will for sure change the world.

As for the effects on crypto? People here have said it might make them more willing to make the switch.

Yes i should have been more specific and said fiat crash. The banks failing again. I guess that could make a stronger case for crypto or something physical like gold and silver.

Well, to get an answer to this question we really have to see the situation with our own eyes. There are NO Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency specialists who can say things like how BTC or altcoins will start a massive bullrun or crash even lower, they are just making wild guesses. And yes, sometimes they indeed hit the nail.

You know what, they are always predicting a crypto crush sooner or later but it is clear that the bears are having hard time to break below $6000 for a long time now. How can you expect a crypto crush if there is always a high demand for bitcoin when the price reach at $6200? Remember, there is always a bullish sign every last quarter of the year.

If you define crash as a sharp decline in Bitcoin price then yes, it can happen. Considering where the market is sitting here, seemingly insignificant breakout below $5800 could bring "blood to the streets" (read it as a sudden and very sharp slump driven with fear among BTC holders).

Do you mean a fiat crash? Yes, a lot of people expect this because the lessons from the last crash were not learned, at least in a lot of countries. A lot of the big western economies are propped up by spiraling levels of consumer debt, which you would expect is unable to be repaid. A crash at some point does seem quite likely.
How this will affect crypto is unclear. In theory crypto should expect price increases as people move away from fiat - but crypto itself is of course unpredictable, and a lot more volatile than fiat even when fiat crashes. In short I expect if we see a fiat crash, then people will move into gold etc as usual.

A crash is definitely a possibility for the next months/year, as I see many people still holding and hoping, and bear markets are made to desperate people into wild selling, so that whales can fill the bags and get profit... so a crash is widely possible...

I will try to believe on it since SEC has announced that they will try to take another delay to the bitcoin ETF and it could give a huge impact for them all. as far as i know about the fact that so many times SEC have rejected bitcoin ETF and if the future of nine ETFs will be the same and i expected another bearish trend for bitcoin.

Before that, there was no collapse, and then disaster. All are unsure that the end of the year will end with the beginning of the bulls and will be at least a small height. But analyzing past falls, one conclusion, if not in this, then at the beginning of the next we will wait for our happiness.

We are currently in a crash and my predictions for the future of the crypto is it is going to be well in the future but I can't predict the specific time where it would go up just like last years's.

I'm talking about the banks crashing the system again. Another global financial crises like in 2008. The same type of crash that pretty much lead to the creation of bitcoin.

Would you call that a crash or an ongoing correction? Things have been stable for the last month which seems like a good sign to me. But the impending crash will affect crypto in some way. Maybe youre right more money gets taken out of stocks and put into cryptos. Or maybe cryptos suffers just like everything else.

There are too many speculations from different personalities in this field and they might have studies, graphs and researches but crypto is unpredictable and no one knows what will happen until it comes. If it will crash again thats fine it will be sale again so that once it recovers that would be the harvest time. Ups and downs are normal so no worries.

Just look at the Bitcoin price history and you will see that such price drops are already natural for this currency. Another increase, even much more higher, is only a matter of time.
