buy btc and invest in some good cloud mining site.

The key is to find a good cloud mining site. Mining bitcoins at home is fun but less profitable.

The S5's look quite good and fun!

How exactly is it 'fun'? How can a specific miner be more fun than another?

if you're gonna buy a mining rig , dont expect you'll earn money from it , just have it as a fun thing and maybe , maybe you'll earn some sweet btc

It is possible to ROI with cheap electricity and a little luck.

Unless the OP is moving out of UK, say goodbye to cheap electricity.

Maybe he doesn't pay the electricity but its family pays it Grin Is it possible to have an apartment with the electricity included in the rent?

Hello,

I have a little money that was given to me through inheritance (About £7500, $11,700)  and I am thinking of investing it in Bitcoin, I am wondering whether to buy bitcoin direct or buy some hardware and mine it myself, I used to mine with GPU back in the day and then moved to altcoins and I loved it, The whole feeling of just seeing your hardware working.

But I am wondering what is best. Especially with electricy costs in the UK and such.

I would appreciate any advice?

Thanks

JohnLight95

I would recommend the S5 as well. Can't wait for it.

The S5 is a good deal that will ROI : 19708 USD for 52x1155GHS Grin

If you mined before, you'll know how to use a mining calculator:

Most people would say, just buy bitcoin.

Buying is safer but mining can be fun as an hobby and profitable if you have a good price for your cloud GHS or your hardware and if the difficulty is not increasing fast.

Buying Bitcoins is the way to go. TA charters are saying that prices may go down even more so its a great opportunity now.
If I were you I would also look around and look at the 2.0 cryptos too.

UK electricity charges is not competitive enough, you should just buy Bitcoin directly if you would like to invest crypto.
