I hate to necro here but the oldest time ever inbetween blocks was 463,160 seconds, the time between block 0 and block 1.

Blockchain.info stopped reporting new blocks. We've had 15 blocks since.

Aha, that explains it.

It is a blockchain.info issue and not a block/blockchain issue.

Granted, I don't spend days on end staring at blockchain.info, but the current 2 hours 6 minutes is the longest I personally have seen between instances of something that is supposed to happen, on average, every 10 minutes.

I noticed on blockchain.info, the last block is showing as being 1 hour 33 minutes ago (block #230145), which got me wondering:

What has been the longest time in between blocks?
