Introducing the Monero brass coin giveaway. It is a DIY XMR brass coin with TWO holograms marked LASER MARKED “UNFUNDED MONERO GIVEAWAY” or something similar.
...
...
This brass coin giveaway has a simple purpose, to get people talking, spreading, and sharing monero with others. It could be used as a conversation piece or just as a tool to assist in educating others on how the technology backing monero is powerful/useful.

It is a (wonderful) souvenir. It's an unfunded token, so it has not much of market value now.
If you want to sell it, give it time. Someday, if/when Monero will become 1000x more popular than now, some collectors could want it badly.

Think of a pen with Microsoft logo on it. It's nice to have, but it's just a pen. If Microsoft becomes history, such pens may become valuable collectibles.

However, you can guess, the chance for value is pretty small. So the advice is: just enjoy it, it's a nice piece of work.

Thank you for you explanation.I will hold this coin Smiley

you got it for free though. you can toss it to a wishing well so maybe your wish will come true.
crypto are meant for online transactions, if you have a physical coin  which doesn't have any monero value then i guess only the collectors can appreciate it.

yeah.may be its for only collection of a coin Sad Sad

It is very good way people will have lot belief on Monero due to 1000 coin distribution for free, right now you better save the coin and hold it tight for their value. Definitely this year monero will increase it's value for sure better save it for future.

I have seen several posts in local boards (Malaysia) of people trying to sell that brass coin, with very few people registering interest.

If I were you, I would just hold on to it as a souvenir. You do realise it is unfunded, right?

It's your coin so you can do with it what you want. But people could receive it for free so why should they pay now for it. Possible you can still request a free Monero Brass coin but you have to ask it yourself if you still want one.

Keep in mind that things like coins will get value but that it takes some time.
