I forgot to renew my domain on time. Time passed and the registrar blocked my domain. Now I can't even renew it. I thought there was enough time for me to renew the domain name. What will to do? I need this specific domain name.

Some registers will hold your domain for a period of time after it expires you can normally contact them about getting it back. However they normally charge you an arm and a leg.

How much time has passed? I know there is a minimum of 14 days when you can renew your domain name for the same price as usual.
If more time has passed, how much will it cost to unlock a domain name?

It depends on your domain registrar. Each registrar may have different conditions and prices, so check with them.

For example, at the Pananames registrar, you can see the conditions. I've tried .com and .net, it costs about $65.

PM me the domain and I will check the status for you.

Generally there is a grace period (1-2 weeks) followed by a redemption period (with a fee of course). You can usually renew your domain up to around 30 days after it expires.

But even if this time has passed, you can still restore your domain name, although it will cost more, maybe even much more. At least I also had a similar experience, I use Pananames registrar. Although I have heard that some registrars generally block the ability to recover a domain name in some cases. But I would not recommend using the services of such registrars.

I think it is time to ask your registrar.
