Kaspersky internet security is a fairly good security softwatre for online protection.
i use pimpcash as my security hahahah
I have always heard that NORTON is one of the best.
I remember having it on my old P166 back in 1997. It's been around for quite some time.

it protects me from virus,malware etc

I think Kaspersky is the best, but it's not free. Out of the free ones I like Comodo, Avast isn't bad too.
