When I generate a Tron address on Trust Wallet will the wallet take care of the energy and bandwidth allocation for me?
There's no wallet that offer such feature since any wallet wouldn't give you free Tron to proceed your transaction, actually it's impossible if there's a coin that has a free transaction cost. Only centralized company that can offer free fee if they have a promotion for their users (usually this is about crypto casino).

Why you're need mobile wallet? it's risky if you want to hold huge money and for long term. But since you're looking for USDT TRC20, there's no option since all hardware wallet only accept USDT ERC20.

Did the wallet automatically take care of the energy and bandwidth that JeromeTash mentioned in his reply as soon as you deposited some tron to it or did you have to do something on your end?
Yes trustwaller is fully automated in terms of that part since its a user friendly app. You just need to input the amount of tokens and the wallet where you gonna send or received fund prettt much basic like mostly on eth blockchain process. But you can always modify these particular details on advance setting of their app.

I'm using OWNR, it has never let me down. I'm making transactions on Tron every few weeks, and have some other coins there.

I've been using two wallets for TRON, this Trust Wallet and Atomic Wallet for a few years now. Pretty good for exchanging and storing TRX. Although, if you need a TRON wallet to connect to some services that support this network, it's better to use native TRON wallets, like TronLink.
Both Trurst wallet and Atomic wallet are close source.

I used Trust wallet but never used Atomic wallet. I did installed Atomic wallet on my computer but decide to uninstall it later.

I did not want to install wallet softwares on my devices to use them. Metamask is my more favorite wallet than Trust wallet. I can use it directly on browsers.

With wallet extensions on browsers, I did not use Chrome but chose Firefox. There is rumor that Chrome has loopholes and is compromised recent weeks.

I have been using these wallets for several years and nothing bad has happened to my funds. Rumors always are and always will be, I am never guided by them. I will give up these wallets if there is a reasonable investigation somewhere that these wallets are malicious and steal users' funds. Until that happens, and it is unlikely to happen, I see no good reason not to use these wallets. I like Trust wallet better because they finally added a browser version.

Hi everyone,

I need a some advice about which Tron wallet you would recommend for mobile phones? What have you personally used that you can say works well?
I have read that some wallets just dont work well and people have problems sending their coins out. Transactions are failing from time to time or users lose their tokens completely.

What should I use?
Trust Wallet can fulfill all needs to store any coin. I think many people use this wallet. I use it, no problems as long as I use the Trust wallet. Or you can use the ViaWallet wallet, this wallet is also easy to use, and transaction fees are also normal. But there is a wallet that is directly connected to Binance, namely SafePal. You can send coins to by selecting the desired blockchain.

I dont know much about tron supported wallets but I only used trustwallet when using tron and never failed me to do some transactions. Got chance to use imtoken too but I think only once, also got good grief on using tron blockchain. But there are lots of new wallets I think. But based on experience, I could only recommend trustwallet for smooth transaction.

Most of wallets that are recommended above are closed source, so they are safe for now, but no one knows what will happen in the future, so if you do not plan to invest large sums or for long periods, they are fairly good.
you can also try -----> https://unstoppable.money/
But if you want to store a long time, it is better for you to transfer your stablecoins into cash, given that stablecoins (USDT) may not be stable in the long term.
Unstoppable doesn't support tron or USDT over the tron network.

I have nothing else to add to the list already posted above. I just want to ask about those problematic wallets. Can you name at least one or two of them? Surely you still remember. Perhaps it's one of those custodial wallet and exchange like freewallet? There have been many complaints and testimonials of frozen funds.
The complaints I heard were about TronLink which is the network's official wallet I think.

For mobile devices Trust wallet is a good choice but the only con is closed source so if you're not going to keep a big amount then trust wallet is fine and also people didn't mention a lot about trust wallet transaction failure so in that point you can trust.

But how much your going to keep decides what kind of wallet is suitable, for example if you are exceeding 10K portfolio value then better go for hardware wallet over anything.

Multi wallet from trust wallet is enough for TRC-20 USDT. I am using it on the other hand you can use atomic wallet but Trust wallet is by far the most popular and useful wallet for mobile device. Since trust wallet is a non-custodial wallet, it has a security phrase, so keeping your funds here is completely under your control. So in my opinion you can choose trust wallet for mobile device to keep your USDT

To use for altcoins, I think trust wallet is the wallet to go for because it's easy to use and so far safe without problems. Regarding the problems you are mentioning, I think it's the user's fault, not the wallet's. There are many wallets for us to select, but many wallets have difficult-to-use interfaces and cumbersome operations, so users can easily get confused, leading to wrong sending and losing money...As a newbie, don't try to use too many wallets but just use Trustwallet, I really find it very easy to use for newbies.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
I need a some advice about which Tron wallet you would recommend for mobile phones? What have you personally used that you can say works well?

There are tons of non-custodial wallets specifically for mobile phones that you can use and support Tron & USDT there. Here's the list:

1. TronLink | 2. imToken | 3. iToken | 4. Trust Wallet | 5. Cobo Wallet | 6. BitPie | 7. Math | 8. Token Pocket | 9. Klever | 10. Vision | 11. Exodus |
12. Atomic | 13. BitKeep | 14. Guarda | 15. Moonstake | 16. Assure | 17. Coin Wallet | 18. NOW Wallet | 19. Arctic | 20. Trustee | 21. CWallet |

But for suggestions, I would rather recommend you to use Trust Wallet, this is the most widely used non-custodial wallet for mobile phones. As far as I'm using Trust Wallet, I haven't had any issues and it's running well.

Trust wallet is one of the best wallets that supports the Tron network, with a user-friendly interface. I have used it for years now and am sure it will solve your problem.

I only need the wallet to work well with my TRX and USDT. No other services. Thanks!

The ones I use are Exodus and Trustwallet

The reason transactions fail mostly is because the is no Tron in the address to facilate the transaction or because the address is not yet activated (allocated energy and bandwidth by staking some small amount of Tron. Some software wallets can help do this for you automatically when creating or generating a Tron address)

Have you tried Trust wallet? Its trusted by a lot of users and I can say that it works perfectly for me. If for storing try also to have a hard wallet, but for trading purposes you can also try to download the apps of exchanges where you can get TRX easily, Binance mobile app for example. With regards to losing your tokens, I guess this will depend on the security of the wallet you are choosing, that’s why Trust wallet is a good option for this.
