In my opinion, trade competency is something that allows us to benefit through the stages provided. if we follow it well we get profit and if we don't follow it well, we will get a loss. but basically the trade competence does not guarantee profit every time.

Should I be fair here?
Trading competition is a form of competition which objects to create fake volume to filled a certain target and pump the price so that the DEV can dump their bag (most of the times, some exception is there.) It's another form of scam.
As you mentioned mate there is an exception, But most of the time, that trading competition was design to pump up the price and also the trading volume of that particular coin or token. But in reality, those projects that frequently running a trading competition are those who are not in demand or low trading volume or even worse no use case at all thats why they cannot drive any demand for their coin or token.

It's a like any other competition.
There should be a winner who's going to be at the top of other competitors.
Which means in trading, whoever got the most profits will be declared as the winner but with certain rules to follow.

Yh, that's right. I've heard about trading competitions like this and there are even ones in which you use someone else's money is more like training in a way where you lear these trading skills, of course these are competitive to get it and its similar to the topic in question.

Which by returning to it, I can imagine the incentive for those platform to organise such competition is to get an isight into strategies used or to identify people with high trade skill set - there has to be a catch to it!

What is a Trading Competition?
Do we trade full time, profit all the time and are superior to other traders? or how?
Usually, competitions have some rewards for the winner. Entrants join for 3 purposes:
- To win the reward.
- To "show" their strategy, so that they can attract investors to use their strategy/EA.
- To proof that they are good (which still means they want to attract investors).

However, I (personally) find that these competitions are pointless (to the people whom are consuming the result of the competition). There are many ways to "rake" the result.

Also, as it is a competition, the trading is based on a simulated environment base on price. However, it does not accurately simulate liquidity. Which means it does not simulate the price gap and execution delay, plus some other elements. Good (professional) 'winners' exploit on these missing elements. For example, a high-speed, automated momentum robot(trading bot) could do very well in simulation environment, but will fail badly in real-world. The reason being that in real world, there is a price-gap (filling of price with nearest price), while in simulation, it will always be filled with the required price (stop orders).

However, most competition-result-consumers (end users) are not aware of this and will take the result of the competition to be true, and thus will flock to give money to the "winner" to manage.

What is a Trading Competition?
Do we trade full time, profit all the time and are superior to other traders? or how?
A glimpse that I found through Google's search engine,
Trading Competition is just a cryptocurrency exchange. This is one way to get involved in the world of cryptocurrency without having to mine it. Cryptocurrency exchanges hold this activity and the top-rated account that has a lot of buying and selling will win.

Yes you do in order to achieve the higher profit to win the competition but when you are not having a lot of time you can do that in a part-time but remember trading competition is always who are getting the higher profit during the trade to be the winner.

it's a kind of promotion by coin or exchange to have more trading volume and user of the exchange.
The winner is the one who have highest trading volume and will announce only after the schedule date is  ended.

Rewards given is different  rewards, other project  they only offer a coins tokens and other is offering stable coins as rewards.

Trading competition is for a certain coin/token and the exchanges offer some good rewards for the traders who take part in such coin trading and there may be some limitations and rule defined earlier and at the end of the competition, every trader gets its rewards as per rule and conditions.

Trading competition as the name implies,is to trade for the best trader of a particular coin, that trader should be at the winning or profit end above other traders and at the end there is a reward for them according to the category of price Ranking.

in my opinion the Trade Competition is like competing for prizes or profits in the crypto market. no matter whether to trade full time or not, if there is competition for prizes or large profits it can be called a trading competition.

this can be said as scrambling to buy good coins at a low price and sell them at a higher price. of course this applies to coins that have large volumes. it takes experience and keen observation to win the competition in the crypto market.

As long as you generate as much trading volume as possible, I believe you will become one of the winners. This contest helped increase the altcoin's volume rapidly, but soon I believed that its price would collapse and the volume would return to its original level before the contest was held.

Trading competition simply work if you do trading activity with considerable volume. Not really full time, actually the goal is simple, just ride with the market buy low price and sell at certain target price. Its good if you are taking advantages of the volume. So most trading competition usually have a mid to long duration to give price spread on whatever coin or market they set for the competition.

Like the competition of the participants, if you top the list, you will receive rewards from the exchange. It is very simple but to win it will be very difficult because there are many people who will participate in it and who has a lot of assets then he or she will have many chances to win.

What is a Trading Competition?
Usually this is sort of promotion of exchanges, specially new one to attract crypto traders to their platform. They offered rewards for joining this competition, depends on the price.

Do we trade full time, profit all the time and are superior to other traders? or how?
Some are well experienced, perhaps they have it already from forex or stock and they carry it over to crypto. Yes there are differences, but they have a grasp, specially reading charts to that is a advantage here. There are full time traders, but I wouldn't say that they make profits all time. None are, there are no perfect traders not just here but in all markets as well. Nobody is perfect so no one is immune from losing. That's why we always tell to learn how to mitigate risk.

Trading competition is the taking part in trade of a certain coin or token in exchange. Trade volumes here is considered who is top at the competition. Recently Kick exchange declared $600 worth of kick tokens reward who will take part in kickexchange. Trade in that certain time either full time or partime is counted on volume basis.

Usually you compete with others in Crypto trading for rewards. Some of the trading competitions I have seen here normally give participants real money to trade with. The  money still belongs to the organisers while winners of the competition are given prize money. I used to know a site that organizes similar competition occasionally, I don't know if it still organises it.
There should be other competitions that allow you to trade/compete with your own money, but when you lose, you lose the money to the winners or something

When it comes to trading full time or short time, then you are referring to categories of traders and their supposed strategy.

If you mean how to trade long or short term or time, then you need to learn trading from the basics.

In trading, you cannot profit all the time, but you can profit most of the time, depends on how much skill and knowledge + understanding you are able to put use.

A trading competition is usually hosted by a project in conjunction with an exchange, it involves trading a particular token on an exchange to push its volume for a short while, and trade winners are selected on numerous options a stated by the organizers.
