Just learned it few days ago. I heard about bounties of this forum. My friend said that bounties pays good then airdrop. what do you think about bounties?
Now I'm looking for bounties.
I don't even suggest you should waste your precious time enrolling yourself to bounties otherwise you could likely regret ever doing it, just as i always advice newbie like you just try like locate the areas you are best suited for and put interest and efforts maybe from what you knew may likely fetch more attention whereby attracting more merits to yourself then you may rank up to higher rank and start enrolling on sig campaign instead of doing bounties.
Actually, there is also a signature campaign under the bounty category but the only difference about them is that they mostly pay in project tokens, sometimes in established altcoins. Bounties has a lesser restriction than on signature campaigns in the services section that even a brand new accounts can join on them.

They can't be a waste of time as long as you will only pick carefully the bounties that you will join like apply only on those bounties that are managed by a high-ranked/reputable campaign manager because they likely picked legit bounties because you know, they are afraid that their reputations will get scratched. Some people don't have a proper talent but they also want to earn an extra income, so maybe bounties other than airdrops can be a good fit for them for a while.

Pays good as long as the payment being escrowed and it used stable token to make sure the reward will not be affected by the volatility but that will give you nothing once you will be paid with useless tokens. Tbh bounties were also depends on how legit the developers are. Sometimes you have been working for a half of year and you got paid only $1. that's really hurt lol. If you wanna get a small payments from bounties then join in the bounties that used stable tokens to paid the participants.

I am being serious, who hunts airdrops in this time when you have so many signature campaigns to go into and bounties if you are so desperate to get some shitcoins.
It's not all of people known about this forum. There are hundreds of thousands people still participated in the airdrop https://coinmarketcap.com/airdrop/

they are still actively trying to get shit coins.

Outside the forum or those who are not much lurking here are those who still joined the airdrop.

Airdrops related to doing a project's testnet are one of the most popular airdrops today that started from not being hyped but because some of the projects that did this make sounds in the crypto-world, the hyped was started to create awareness.

Now up to users if they will put an effort into joining those or not.

Airdrops might sound like a good thing but they collect a lot of your data and sometimes even KYC data which is dangerous if it falls in the wrong hands. Being greedy will land you up in such situations where your identity might get stolen and you will be blackmailed.

So if you willing to make money, get a job in real life and join a signature campaign in this forum. You will get a decent amount of BTC to keep it running and saving.
Gone are the days on which airdrops are worth for your extra time but now they are requiring some kyc before you could able to recieve those peanut amounts which is something not really that worth of the risk.

Its true that better to have some day job and making some side income on this forum via signature campaigns is much more worth.Yes, it might not be easy on getting been chosen or to join up these campaigns

but totally this is the most ideal thing that you can do out of this place where you could benefit out on saving up some satoshis for long time without needing to invest money
but rather put up some time and effort on some task.

How to Get Crypto Airdrop?

Crypto projects have a certain amount of tokens to distribute to people who meet their eligibility requirements. In most cases, you have to complete one or several tasks in exchange, such as following the Twitter account, joining a channel, sharing or retweeting a certain post, interacting on the network, etc. So prepare social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, and Discord, and register several digital wallets. If you’re eligible, it’s possible to win tokens from the airdrop. It will be deposited in your wallet

Please allow me to answer, what you explained is correct or I totally agree, apart from that there are also additional social media, for example medium and YouTube, usually airdrops must follow these social media

or you have to claim manually. But it’s not guaranteed to receive.

for this case you should never follow what they say, as far as I know the real airdrop project does not ask for a fee, Coin will automatically go to your wallet

Where to Find Airdrops for Free Coins 2022?

There are ways to find upcoming airdrops:

- Search on social media with the hashtag #airdrop

Closing Thought

Before you participate in an airdrop, it’s recommended to create a new wallet. Because sometimes it prompts to let you connect to suspicious websites when you do tasks. It’s risky and not safe for your existing assets in the wallet when you connect to those websites. If you get tokens from airdrops, you can transfer them to your usual wallet.
Also, when you get the tokens from one of the airdrops in which you participated, you have to check the source code for it first and look at the contract address because there are scammers who send fake tokens bearing the same name as the official token project and send them to thousands of participants, and therefore the victims when trying to swap or transfer them, will lose the fees they have on the wallet. Now participating in an airdrop is risky, and you may get tokens that are not listed on exchange platforms and that you cannot exchange in the future, so you lost your time instead of using your time to learn, gain experience, invest and trade.

~snip~But talking about its profitability, whoever said that to you probably has been in the bounties around 2016-2017. Those were no doubt the best days for bounties and airdrops because almost any project during that time was profitable and successful. And to talk about it at these present times, try and see yourself if he's telling the truth. Because the reality is, they aren't.

2016-2017 was indeed a successful period for airdrops, I also got a lot of benefits from airdrops that year. only a few scam projects appear, more projects with various innovations provide big rewards for bounty hunters and airdrop hunters.
But inversely for now. Airdrops and bounties are no longer a place where profits are always made, there are only a few airdrops that pay very little and bounties that don't pay as expected anymore. it takes more effort to be able to produce a signature campaign, but it requires activeness and contributions in the forum.
The majority of the projects there have been profitable and almost every ICO that came out during that period has always managed to reach millions of crowdfunding.
Well, that's fun until it lasts and that's why today if there are some airdrops and bounties. You're not going to be sure if they're going to be profitable because nobody knows how the developers will manage to get along with their audience and potential investors. Gone are those days when everyone was enjoying the free money in the market although it's a bit lower than the last ATH last year, well honestly I enjoyed more the ride last year than those years.

Airdrop and bounties are the same. They are just both task free promotion form some projects to sell out their platform. Some did a good job on showing their goal, but the amount or difference fant be quantify. Maybe bounty is way higher than airdrops but depends on kind of project. If thats a lousy one then chance it would ve valueless is there.

But remember that there's a chance of accidentally getting scam tokens. Here's a good guide on how to spot it and what to do and not to do with coins: https://oneart.digital/en/blog/got-scam-tokens-in-wallet-herere-dos-and-donts

Now the airdrops trending with testnets. A project give airdrop to users who are early users of their testnets.

But many are fake and we should DYOR first. Because many are scammers and they always try to grab your valuable assets. Don't give your private things or personal data to unknown airdrops. Be safe and DYOR first.

What Does Airdrop Mean in Crypto?

Crypto airdrop is an event of distributing coins or tokens to just wallet addresses, free of charge.

The intention for airdrops has been abuse as people have been taking advantage of it to scam others by promising them tokens and all forms of bounties, but i fo advise that beginners can use them for a learning ground together with faucet on how to use an address, make a transaction and other relevant processes needed to learn in cryptocurrency handlings.

How to Get Crypto Airdrop?

Crypto projects have a certain amount of tokens to distribute to people who meet their eligibility requirements.

A beginner need to also learn how to engage on research about airdrops and those initiating it because most of them are not that reliable to give you what they promise which is more reasons why most people regard them as a waste of time when nothing comes forth at the end.

There are a few other things to look out for before taking part in an airdrop on crypto besides what you've stated in this thread. The following are things that need to be known and paid attention to because this is part of a risk or fraud that is very possible and often occurs to Airdrop hunters

  • Data Theft
  • Private Key Theft
  • Referral Scams

For further or broader explanations regarding the three things I mentioned above, you can visit the zipmex.com website to read them one by one.

This is like you receive a discount card in your email that encourages you to the new store for purchase. However, the aim of crypto airdrops is not to let recipients spend money but rather to raise awareness of a new coin and encourage the adoption of new projects.
