I think the ico pool is the number of tokens that the developer creates for an event. For example, token pool for bounty campaign is 2%, token pool for crowd-sale is 50%.

In my opinion, ICO pool is the total token which this project want to sell in Private Sale or Public Sale. The others token will divide for the dev team or for marketing, bounty... Therefore, the ICO pool is less than the Supply pool, usually it is 40-60% the supply pool.

An ICO pool brings people together who want to participate in the pre-sales of ICOs. Each participant sends a contribution to a smart contract. Upon the end of the ICO or when the hard cap is reached, the funds are sent. Then, when the smart contract receives the tokens, it distributes them back to the investors in an equivalent manner.
