Max Keiser is still Max Keiser, and he's still wacky and 90% wrong in his predictions.  He's been a permabull on precious metals and appeals very strongly--like most permabulls--to emotion.  Fear, in particular.  Look at coinflation.com, and look at all the articles they link to.  They are all the same stuff.  The dollar is collapsing, gold & silver is primed to explode, etc., etc.  It's mostly crap, and if you buy into Max K, you're buying into all that.

I wanted to refresh this to find out if anyone has invested on this site?

I don't know and don't really want to know either. He uses his show to promote certain things (currencies and services) which he only does to profit out of.
If it fails, he'll simply get up and move on pretending like nothing happened despite all the losses those that listened to him faced.
An example of such an event was Maxcoin. Some users will disagree with me and say that he wasn't affiliated with it but rather it just used his name, but I distinctly remember him tweeting about it quite often and artificially creating a hype over something that was virtually non existent (no pun intended).

Word of advice, don't blindly listen to Max Keiser, he just likes to go on!

I am fully aware. I have been watching him on TV for some time now.

His main objective atm is to pump maxCoin (or whatever self-owned alt he's promoting now) like he has already done with others [..]
LOL I remember Maxcoin, was that his own alt coin?

I'm sure it is. I've also found this open topic (http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/30slkp/startcoin_max_keiser_scam/) where it was previously discussed.

Leave no FUD unchallenged
I was watching The Keiser Report and I did not understand what exactly he is trying to do here.

I then went to the website and I still don't get it!

Can someone tell me what this is please?

Thanks!

Sounds like they're looking for investors to provide cash so that they can go and speculate on the altcoins market, startups and a bit of mining.  Basically, they're telling people that you don't have to bother learning about all this fancy new crypto stuff, just hand over your money and they'll try to make (fiat) profits for you while keeping a nice chunk for themselves.

If you're here on this forum, you don't really need to pay much attention to it, because you probably know about as much as they do about crypto (and if you don't, you will soon).   Cheesy

There are A LOT of people that would like that idea..

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm saying it's bad or anything.  I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who don't want to learn the technical details, worry about security, research which alts are actually worth your time and money and hope you don't turn out to be wrong.  But I'm guessing most of us here are doing that already, without the middleman (unless you count the exchanges, heh).  If it means more interest in crypto, then by all means, they're welcome to carry on.

Maybe if anyone has made some bad calls, lost money on an alt and now decides they want to trust someone else with that decision in future, maybe it is worth a look.  But even then, there's no guarantee they'll get it right either, heh.  Such is the crypto-rollercoaster.

Well reading other posts I see he is meant to own 20,000 btc. If I had that I wouldn't care about some trashcoin.
