Nowadays Nvidia is introducing mining cards for miners which have a high hashing power than graphic cards in 1060 (as stated on their sites). But these cards will not be used for gaming. I am going to create my rig and I am curious that which option will be better for me!

Hi,

Imo, the mining cards are bad, especially in terms of resale value. When mining is no longer profitable, who is going to buy your card? At least normal 1060s will have some resale value, even if it is small (due to all the other people dumping graphics cards when they are no longer profitable).

It is better to take the usual game card. There will be no significant difference in hashes between gaming and "mining". But gaming can always be resold in the secondary market.

If you're using the 19 slot ASUS motherboard, you need at least 6 of those if you want to make full use of those 19 slots. (At least until ASUS makes good on their promise to release an update.)

Otherwise, I generally don't think the mining-specific cards are worth it, especially with the inflated prices beyond those of the gaming versions.
