Yes COSM is rising on HItBTC because of its association with cosmetics brands. Well-known brands have allowed people to pay for cosmetics through COSM coin. And we all know how much ladies love to use cosmetics that why their use of this coin is rising.
COSM is kind of altcoin that is associated with renowned cosmetics brands that allows customers to pay by this coin. The use cosmetics among women are very high and that is the reason COSM is rising on HitBTC in the recent time.
Maybe it’s just a manipulation by the whales. You’ll see many shitcoins getting pumped at different exchanges everyday. besides, I’ve heard that some Korean company has invested in them and there has been some buzz about cosmo coin on the internet. We can certainly know for sure if the coin will survive by the next few months.
It may be the pump from the Korean Social Media Platform, Kakao. But there could be other reasons behind it too. This one just seems the most evident one.

It's probably because Kakao (a large Korean social media company) invested in them recently.
I came across that as well and I found an article regarding this. I'm assuming this is probably what's pumping it.
