It’s important for me that a good course

i have been in the market for a long time and i would love to have some service or website for paying for items with BTC that is a great thing but sad that my country is ban cryptocurrencies, so it's still a long way for me to be able to use those services.

I used to purchase a lot of things via Purse.io so if you're working on a startup that involves buying things online with Bitcoin I would use them as one example of inspiration.

Bitcoin used to pay for luxury goods would be more reasonable because small-value items aren't suitable for cost savings. The website needs to update quickly, accurately the price of bitcoin and adjust the appropriate fee, in addition, the online payment most needed is still safe.

To me buying online with bit coin is very good because its going to save time

there are stable coins here too that you can use if you dont want to regret whatever value may come next but converting your crypto to stable coins feels like similllar to converting your cryptos with fiat .

if thats the case then you should buy locally with fiats or there are also fiat based online shopping that is popular right now for every countries  . im also doubting to use my crypto but still ive been using it because i have no cash on my pocket .

On the flipside, you could also profit loads once it goes up.

But yeah, it sucks when you tend to receive payments during the "good times" and have to cashout when things go South.

Buying online with bitcoin is not going to easy after we know that this bitcoin has limited supply and with merging of people in it price can go any high level. But if I have looking at good site, good things and not too much transport expenses.these are the factors we look. After all site should not scam us after paying bitcoin to them. Site should have a proper payment gateway to receive the bitcoin by customer. Their items should should maintain a good quality.

I prefer not to use cryptocurrency as a method of payment, after all, the rate is not stable enough and you can lose a lot of money.

If you want to buy something online through Bitcoin, you must first check the address to which you will send Bitcoin.  In addition, you need to have a good idea about the product you are going to buy

The store should have  a good reputation,  security is great , customer services is always online to answer questions and problems of the buyers amd lastly fee for international ship is not that high.

What is most important to me is the reputation of the merchant alongside the security put in place without leaving the user support in case of an issue. The payment method and the fee charged is also a good point of consideration for me in particular

in my life security has always been number one when online on the internet,

TRUST is the most important thing think how easy it would be too. Just steal bitcoin or many other probs. You need a platform you can trust where you know if i use them there wont be probs and if there are it not some crazy wait

Im a dedicated hodler for now, i dont want to buy my bitcoins and compare myself to the guy who bought pizza with his Bitcoins and at that time the price of Bitcoin was really cheap.
Unless Bitcoin manage to get a full blown adoption which means every person in the world is using it then yes. I would use my Bitcoins if it's peer to peer transaction cause i dont have to worry about scarcity.

make sure you send it on the right address as you wont be able to recover it if you sent it on the wrong address.

I have been using web development for just small businesses in my hometown, nothing really spectacular but for learning. Wordpress, HTML/CSS, Java mostly.

I understand your concern about the testing but will be in the future of course. Have tested this already and it works and are ready for commercial use.

Does it mean that you are looking for testers who will have to buy products from your webshop? I don't think this would work here. Trial and error, remember! You can test the paiement system using your own fund budget as no one will use his money. This seems shady.
And how you can provide a great variety of products for a newborn store .
Please describe what you are working on in public. I don't recommend anybody to pm you before you explain more about your plan.

There is no real need for a token. You can work with bitcoin or any other major crypto as well (eth/ltc/..). Unless you are planning to run a rise-fund ICO/IEO to finance the project.

This structure remains imaginary without a detailed whitepaper where you will describe how the paiement system can work without a trusted escrow service and how you will work with vendors.

Well, that's where everything comes, people would not use any platform/service no matter how great the product is if the site itself is cannot untrustworthy.

I am ready to buy any things, any clothes, electronics, etc. It is not so important.

There have been a great support from you people that are interested in this platform. I have decided to give this project an extra gear and put more spare time to see this project become an reality. TheBitcoinWarehouse will be a platform for people to buy products with their Bitcoin.


Background information

First of all, i want to be transparent with who I am and where i come from. Won't be disclosing to much information about my personal details but you can call me Nils.

I'm a 21 year old student in Psychology and have been interested in technology since i was a child. Trial and error is the most beautiful learning experience as it gives you more information on how you should think and do things. I've developed websites and online stores since 2014 and have great knowledge in this area. I understand the fundamentals of Bitcoin and blockchain technology. I believe in Bitcoin in the long term and i think that using this technology is just the beginning of something big. I live in Norway currently but born and raised in Sweden. 


Solution

TheBitcoinWarehouse will be the go to website when you are interested in buying products with your Bitcoin. I want to start small and scale organically as i think this is the best solution. I will start a real company in my name and use the laws that are applied in this country when selling products via Bitcoin. I have a great network of suppliers and will provide high quality products as branded clothing, jewelry, watches, home furnishing, electronics, mobile products and much more.

I will apply your thoughts into the website and offer a great service where i as a true business owner will stand for your rights when using bitcoin as a payment method. I will be able to offer a great support and the risk of not getting your products is 0%(If not the shipping courier does their job right lol). If this happens i'll be able to support you and either ship a new product or money back.



Idea

The idea is simple, in the beginning i will offer a simple webshop where you can buy these things. The payment provider will be Coinbase commerce and you will be able to buy products with your Bitcoin, just as when you use Fiat when purchasing something online. I have been lurking around and seen that many people use escrow services. This solution is great when using buying something from another person. TheBitcoinWarehouse to start with will not be a platform where this will be offered to their customers.

Instead i think that if you can implement the idea of using blockchain technology to integrate real business owners into the platform. The idea of creating a token that will work with PoW or PoS with the business owners working as either workers(miners) or stakers. This would create the legitimacy and the security for the customers to receive great support and get their products as promised.

This is just an idea yet but if someone are interested in discussing this even further and willing to help let me know and i will send you an telegram channel invitation.

You can just leave it to someone's name (might be your relative or someone's close to you) and address where you want to pickup/deliver the bought item(s) which is I always do.

Thanks, i am currently looking into the different address problem. I think the best thing would be that instead of using a third party the funds would be sent from A{Customers adress} to B{Store BTC wallet}. I have been looking into coinbase commerce and i think that solutions should work great! Don't you think?

Great inputs, i think that the solution here is that the store owner{me} takes the big straw. I think that using providers from different countries in the world is possible. Without the necessity to store the users information. I think this is a solution A(Customer buys products that he wants, pays in BTC. Provides the shipping information) B(Shop owner{me} Receives the BTC, ships to the product to customer or if i use third party C(Buyer receives product.)

There are different important things on buying on an online eCommerce website, Most of the customer including me wants to have fast shipping and free shipping if possible of course. Quality service is a must also, As a customer we want to have the order we get on a condition we are expecting, Stealing and mishandling of parcel is quite common these days because of the irresponsible shipping couriers that can give a bad reputation to the online shop. Security is also needed in terms of we are buying items using crypto so we expect an online eCommerce website to have good security that it can't leak our info in their database.

There should be a refund policy in case the customer does not like the goods or the goods are reached to him in damaged conditions etc.

However, the main thing is when you pay in bitcoins, you should keep note of the few things.

1- You would send the amount to the designated address carefully as if the address is typed/copy wrongly, the bitcoin will be send to wrong address and can never be recovered or returned.

2- Send the exact amount as shown on the website. Anything send in excess will not be returned.

There are some sites out there that had bitcoin payment integration but no refund policy integrated unlike fiat. This should be looked into by most startup looking into opening an ecommerce platform for people to pay with bitcoin. Among the thing I look at before making any bitcoi payment into any system is the review from other buyers, followed by security and the policies attached to this platforms. Most people don't endeavour to read about a platfrom policy which is something important when dealing with an ecommerce platform.

There is a lot of important factors when I chose to spend my Bitcoins online. And in general, when I buy something online.
Security, good design of store, responsive support is obvious things, so I don't even talk about it. Delivery should be fast - few days if it's in same country and not longer than month if it's overseas. Multiple delivery options is needed IMO, for example registered mail and companies like DHL. Price of goods should be reasonable and it shouldn't cost much more expensive than on other stores.
And probably most important thing for me when I want to spend Bitcoin - don't use BitPay payment proccessor. It's terrible and I'm not going to spend single Satoshi on store which use it.

I think the best example for a good site to use Bitcoin as a payment method is Overstock.com. For those of you who still don't know it yet it is like the Amazon version of Bitcoin users around the world, it even has better international shipping coverage compared to Amazon since they use a 3rd party (FedEx) to handle its shipping needs. What they do use to implement their Bitcoin payments is Coinbase Commerce but you don't necessary need to log-in to your Coinbase account nor need it as you can just scan the QR code after picking the Bitcoin option. But if I were to nitpick and suggest a better feature I think is of course having a cheaper shipping cost because some of their shipping cost (also depending on the seller)  considering how far you are are more expensive than the item you will be buying.

In addition to other suggestions:

• In regards to shipping, having the ability to choose among various couriers is a plus.
• A point system that gives each user some points ^{[depending on their purchased amount]} that equates to certain amount of discount for their future purchases.
• In-depth screening for sellers.
• Buyer protection program ^{[like eBay]}.

What a bizarre way to process invoices -- it boils down to chance. I've seen the network go 2 hours before without a single block being found.

I've had trouble with processors who have really poor node or API uptime/connectivity, and don't detect payments in time. CoinPayments invoices tend to time out no matter when you send the payment. I've also had trouble with CoinGate, although the experience seemed to improved the last couple times I used them.

Bitrefill's checkout process is very smooth. Other merchants and processors should take note.

For me most important is easy integration. I don't like much complicated getaway. Second thing is fast deposit, sometimes websites required more confirmation. Even some of them delay deposit although there is more than 6 network confirmation on the bitcoin blockchain. This is disgusting for me. Another thing is secure, your website must secure by various protection in order to save deposited funds. Users should able to withdraw their fund if they don't like to buy product from you in case. Don't forget about deposit/withdrawal fees. I always avoid who ask higher deposit/withdrawals fees. Users must have to feel secure & comfortable when they will enter your site.

I hope what I have said will be absorbed with what you are planning to do and what you will try to build in the future. Compiling and considering the other suggestion too will be much helpful to you. 

I think about the buyer who can login to the website using a unique id encrypted with a strong password. In his profile, he can see his balance and use it easly for withdraw and deposits. Balances can be synchronised with navigator based wallets like Jax or MetaMask (eth) or simply connected with a third part gate like BitPay for deposits and setup a process to generate transactions for withdraw operations, you would have to set a hot wallet to control the paiement system.
Those tips are from general view and i advice you to take a look at namechip for example offering hosting services where you can pay using bitcoin but they don't allow the withdraw.

Thinking about full anonymity in a physical marketplace would be hard to set, i know. But i can imagine that you find a partner in every country you will provide service, your partner receives the product in his address and i (as a buyer) give him a proof of paiement or facture taken from your website without telling my name or address.
Worldwide shipment would be so hard as many country enforce extra fees for douane tax of any product.

Well, the website's security and numbers of available products, worldwide shipments, user-friendly should be given and considered in the first place.

One of the important things I considered when buying things online with bitcoin is being anonymous, by means that it didn't require the user to make any kyc thing or any personal related information stored in the website, just an email address and make an external payment which doesn't require to deposit in the website, lightning should be considered as well.

To be honest I didn't use my Bitcoin as a payment regularly. Sometimes I used it occasionally when I saw that the market was pumped price.

The most important thing is, of course, the brand name of the merchants that already well known and trusted enough for your orders and fast shipping even worldwide(but I prefer on local merchants). This is the reason why I use Bitcoin occasionally as payment because of the high fees. Maybe if merchants allow using Lightning Network for Bitcoin payment that can transact micro payment it is a good idea.

Privacy and a smooth interface. Lightning would be a bonus.

Make sure you generate a new address for each customer for each transaction. I would not be happy using a service which only gives me a single address to pay to.

I've ran in to problems with some services who calculate prices in fiat, and give a price in bitcoin. Most will give a window of something like 15-30 minutes for the transaction to be made, and after that the transaction will be cancelled to protect from price changes. However, there was one I used in the past which wanted the transaction to be confirmed, not just broadcast, within the 15 minute window. Even with a high fee, sometimes that is impossible if there is a longer delay to the next block being found. It was then a total hassle to get them to credit my transaction against a future purchase.

In that case, maybe take a look at how Bitrefill works. You can pay the exact amount required when you place an order, but you can also deposit BTC to your account, and then pay from your account balance instantly when placing an order. Sometimes when I use it, to save on generating small change outputs, I'll transfer a whole UTXO to my account and then buy what I need, leaving the extra few bucks in my account. As much as I don't like ever leaving my funds on third party sites, it's only ever a small amount so I don't worry about it, and I'll always spend it in the not too distant future.

• I don't mind paying extra for faster shipping, and I am sure your customer will not have a problem with that too.
  
• 2 weeks or 3 weeks for the maximum of shipping time will not be a problem. If you have faster shipping, then that would be great for your customer, and I think they can choose the faster shipping option.
  
• I think you can add Mobile Phone, Electronics, Kitchen and Dining, Computer & Accessories, else. You can try to browse in Amazon and check which category that have a huge buyer.
  

I think what he meant was the customers only have to provide the shipping address basically skipping the KYC on registration if that's the regular procedure with online stores in general.

Back to the main question, for me one of the important things to is also the support since some people complain right away if they dont get a response after a day.

I mainly use my bitcoin for long term investment among which includes buying of electronics materials when the needs comes up for my home or work appliance. My last two transactions with bitcoin payment was for a macbook pro which I had to buy for my kids and a refrigerator for my kitchen. The payemrn process was swift and I look forward to seeing more platforms implementing bitcoin payment.

I prefer to buy in the online store which has a fast worldwide shipping, good security, have a lot of products, I can have my own page to check my order and my balance, 24/7 online chat that can solve the problem if any. The online store should have promotions or discounts for their customer so that they can attract more customers to come and buy the product. Maybe Amazon or eBay can be a good example for you to build your online store.

The support is very interactive. Having a live chat support will make the customer feel safer because you can interact anytime that the customer wants and if there are questions or problems regarding the service that they have purchased.

This also gives security that your business wants to give a satisfactory service which many customers wants. Because, you are there to answer queries and to give assurance that your customer is doing good. Another one is the legitimacy of the operator, the transparency of the people working behind.

Well if you are buying stuff online with BTC then the most important thing to make sure the items you buy are going to reach to your address. If its not delivered to your doorstep then you made it wrong buying to a non trusted ecommerce site.

Its best to just buy to ecommerce website that had been reviewed many times by bitcoin users to which they have bought to these sellers.

Personally, i would be satisfied if:
- i have full control of my funds once deposited in my balance account within the platform. Maybe you can let users create new wallets (seeds) encrypted in the blockchain. Didn't see this option before but i think it's technically possible.
- i can keep anonymous by using bitcoin. It means that the platform won't ask me to verify my identity and the shipping address will only provided to the shipper.

I'v been lurking since 2014. Bitcoin user since 2013 and  currently working on a new website.

For the past years i've seen various sites that let you pay with bitcoin, some services even let you pay someone with bitcoin and then they buy anything you'd like from amazon and ship it to you! Do we really want it like this? Should it be impossible for an business to succed and expand and only depend on bitcoin transactions(people buying things with bitcoins)?

The halvening is coming up and i think it's time for someone to take a stand and let the bitcoin users use their coins just like they do when using fiat money. We don't want to use our fiat money any longer, let me use my bitcoins.
