Is this competition open to traders from all around the world?
Have you seen this news about the KCGI Competition, it seems you need to try it if you are good at trading, futures, spot.
After seeing those comments and researching, I think I will try. And I think that Bitget will not do anything that is going to tanise its reputation.
I hope so, but it seems you need to review the quote below.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know more about KCGI 2023. What exactly is it, and what makes it stand out from other trading competitions?
Is it really worth trying?

This topic seems to be like pretty old, as far as I opened I realized I had encountered such a thread before and I did post my view on that thread then I tried to find my reply but it seems like copy thread because it really is not there but I defiantly know that I had posted on a similar thread. Anyway that's a side story the Point is Trading competition I'm not gonna be particular with the KCGI and Bitget or any other exchange. Generally trading competition is for the marketing of the project, boosting the volume, attracting new investors, etc. Most of the time the high capital holder enters such trading competition trades as you and I with average capital mostly avoid such type of trading competition but it can be a good opportunity in a side way.

During the completion due to the hype and volatility by taking a few precise trades you can generate a decent profit, except for that the trading competitions are not recommended for newbies and early traders.

I did a quick look up at the KCGI event and it has several categories. Aside futures copy trading, futures trading, it also has demo trading, I think newbies and early traders can check that out and tryout their skills.

Winning prize is high but this is just another stupid volume provider competition. Frankly i don't see how these are even still legal. Name one actual stock exchange that would allow something like this.
I would totally get trading competitions that require skill, where the people who en up with most money with the start amount wins. That would be actually interesting. Now it's just the amount of trades that wins. Brining volume to the casino so that they can seem like a high volume exchange.

It's more legit then exchange faking their volume by themselves but it's still misleading and boring.

Nice try on soft shilling Bitget. I was curious on the title because the acronym seems familiar but I become skeptical by reading other newbie reply and your post history that always related to Bitget exchange.

Shilling exchange in any form (both directly and indirectly) will tarnish the reputation of the service you are promoting. Just do this kind of Q&A on the official ANN thread and use campaigns to promote here.
Nice research, man. But what if I wanted to know about the WSOT2023 trading event on Bybit a few days ago? Would you also call me a Bybit Shiller?

Seeking help about any matter, getting the hint, and wanting to jump into the matter makes you a shiller. Really interesting!

Reminds me of the thread I saw yesterday mentioning KCGI, see: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ama-about-cex-trading-competition-taking-kcgi-as-an-example-5464389

I didn't think much of it but after seeing this post, I just had to peek into their post history and ofc, there's a post saying bitget is the best lol. Further, it is posted around the same time as this. Frankly, I have no idea why people think employing easy-to-spot sock puppets is a good thing.

It's a trading competition powered by Bitget Exchange, and what actually makes it unique compared to other trading competitions? This query has many explanations, but the one I have seen is that it has good rewards, and they are also rewarding a mini helicopter. But to be honest, I do not think it is the biggest trading competition, or it might depend on the factors one keeping in mind to declare one as the biggest trading competition.

But I do not like BitGet, and I do not even use it, but if you think it's worth joining, then it's up to you.
Kinda confused here bud. Why don't you like something you've not even tried? Baffling

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know more about KCGI 2023. What exactly is it, and what makes it stand out from other trading competitions?
Is it really worth trying?

It's not that it really stands out from other trading competitions but since the prizes are really big and insane (Up to 2,650,000 USDT, Airbus H135 Helicopter, Tesla Cyberquad, and an iPhone 15 Pro Max, etc.) it was different from the usual trading competition we do see at most cases.

Is it worth trying? Well, only you can answer that if you are really interested in participating. I would be silent about some possible irregularities that might happen here or inside jobs of some sort but doing such will just make Bitget ruin their reputation. By participating here, you trust them to be fair and square.

Anyways, it's mentioned in the FAQ that you are not allowed to register after the registration period ends. As of this posting, around 6 days left to register and have a spot. You are the one who needs to decide if you will participate here or not. Just read carefully all the terms as much as possible.

I saw the post on this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/team-partners-for-kcgi-trading-event-5464300 and i first doubted it it's true or not because of the replies i see there are from only newbies accounts and some with negative feedback, but that aside, knowing that it's a competition that has a sponsorship from Bitget is something to trust because of their reputation, spot trading competition is something not that common, but what i don't still understand about the intention for this is the benefits each participants stand to get when they win or loose because it makes nothing different from the normal trading we do, but I think they should have come out themselves in making this announcement themselves to get more trust on it.

Can you senior members  give newbies room to grow in this forum? You were once like us I believe . That was my post and I was sincerely looking for people to form my team with.

Secondly, Bitget has made this announcement on full blast on their announcement channel and twitter handle I don't understand why you're saying they should have done what they're already doing.  Here's their official Twitter handle in case you wanna verify because (I'm a newbie and shouldn't be trusted 🙄)  https://twitter.com/bitgetglobal?t=7zY7zNYNc9cUHvvwLeiiaA&s=09

KCGI is a crypto trading competition hosted by Bitget .. Different trading activities involved includes spot, futures, demo and futures copy trading. Personally, I see it as more than a mere competition cause it also lays emphasis on community involvement and learning; which is a standout feature.
The event offers webinars, discussions, and insights from industry professionals, enhancing participants understanding of trading. So, it's pretty cool imo
