Libra is going to be another variant of stablecoins. I think we may see some stables from Snapchat or Google in the future. It is making an image of the company. That`s a new branch of cryptocurrency growth, but it may be a bit dangerous to the original idea of crypto. Decentralization is going to disappear in such cases and users are not really protected from market gigant`s manipulations.

Libra is still a controversy because until now it has not been permitted by the regulator. Libra News continued to reverberate a few months ago but now seems to be fading after problems with regulations and I think it will take a long time to convince regulators to issue permits

A weapon of NSA? Seems like that. I think the idea was not too smart, cause crypto folks value to be anonimous rather than keeping their funds in stable coins monitored by a largest corporation of evil.
How is it possible for libra to be a weapon of NSA? If that was a weapon of NSA and why doesn't libra get accepted by US regulators. For me, what you are saying right now is a non-sense thing.
Basically, you can't judge the idea of libra coin is a smart idea or not caused by the purpose of libra will be a middle party or gateway between the users and libra service.
Anonymous is not always become the choice of any parties.

Really? they have billions of users but they've been known to collect data from their users so it's obvious that they would do the same with this coin. Imagine that before they are collecting information of each users they have including birthdays and other stuffs but now they've come up with an idea to collect everyone's financial transaction.

What is Libra?

Libra dont exist. No one can tell what Libra will be. Most likely a token used in facebook applications. Facebook already had a token in 2010. Probably will be similar as that. I dot think we will need to wait long to see.

I agree. Everything is now on the test version, which cannot be taken seriously. After the full launch of the project, we can see a different picture.
So far, only in brief can it be said that this will be an extremely centralized stable coin for the use of which you will have to fully reveal yourself. Fortunately, the market is diverse.
Fortunately, the market is diverse, and the use of Libra will be a conscious decision of each.

Libra is the facebook coin...

feel free to take a look at the white paper:

I think is important to mention how facebook is behind that coin. Because if that Social Network starts accepting the coin it will be a mega bump for all cryptos and not much for libra because this will be a 'Stable Coin'.

Libra is a mass surveillance coin, created by a mass surveillance company that makes billions of dollars each year by collecting your personal and private data and selling to other companies.

That´s the cost of your "enpowerment", be monitored all the time. Wink

What is Libra? Libra's mission is to provide a simple global currency and financial infrastructure that powers billions of people.

Libra is the new centralnon block chain. It includes plans for a low-volatility crypto currency and a smart contract platform that aims to create a new opportunity for innovation of responsible financial services together.

The emergence of the internet and mobile devices has strengthened billions of people around the world to access the world's knowledge and information, high-quality communication, and a much lower-cost, more affordable range of services. These services are accessible using a $40 smartphone from almost anywhere in the world.Libra Coin

What is Libra?

What Libra Says;

Libra has enabled economic empowerment by enabling more people to access the financial ecosystem. By working together, technology companies and financial institutions have also come up with solutions to help boost the world's economic empowerment. Despite this progress, the majority of the world's population is still lagging behind – although there are one billion mobile phones and almost half a billion have internet access, 1.7 billion adults worldwide do not have bank accounts. These people live outside the financial system.

There Are Still Those In The World Who Don't Do Finance

For a lot of people, parts of the financial system are like pre-internet telecommunications networks. Twenty years ago, the average price of text messaging in Europe was 16 cents. Some solution suggestions and briefings were made for Libra;

Now anyone with a smartphone can communicate for free worldwide with a basic data plan. At the time, telecommunications prices were high, but they were the same; Today, however, access to financial services is limited to those who are most affected by the cost, reliability and ability to send money seamlessly– for those who need it most.
