The big thing in the 60s in the USA was civil rights and abolishing racial discrimnation, and the Vietnam war. There was a lul between then and the end of World War II. Culture went to sort of an extreme where women weren't always treated so nicely and wouldn't be allowed to work in some areas in the 50s, so then in the 70s people rebelled against that and sort of took it to an opposite extreme. During this time nearly everyone got a television in their home for the first time in history, so that probably significantly influenced the culture.

Here at the Philippines the filipino here was colonized by Spaniards and because of that some words of the spaniards are used/been using and foods are now been eaten, cook and others things that you will notice as you visit us here. So how about in your country? How was it back than in the late 50's to 80's?
