I think what you are asking is which type of recommendation works on me , I will most probably said no , after you immerse in the crypto space for enough time then u will realize that anyone will say the coin that occupied majority of its portfolio good. Why? They want more ppl to come in increase the demand and push the price , simple as that

Successful ICO should have:
- Low hardcap abour 5-20m.$; easier to reach, and most likely will make x2-x3 from the start.
- Strong experienced team with active profiles in LinkedIn
- Detailed and realistic whitepaper
- Should be active in social accounts (tweeter, facebook)
- KYC verification is a big advantage

I agree with that.
If one point falls, you need to think twice before investing.
Now more and more difficult to find a really good ico

As there are many replies mentioning the importance here I won't post these again.
But!!!!
This is very important in ICO.....
Hype! Hype! Hype!
Check the members in telegram and slack channel it will answer this quality. Hype is really important if you want to make X times right after the ICO whether the project may be good or bad.

A strong and active development team and the business idea must be disruptive to the market.

I like ICO that already received a lot of money Smiley))))
Like 5 000 000$ or more. Sometimes possible find ongoing ICO with 40 000 000$.
This mean in very high percentages that company is super strong!

So you can participate in bounty for example Smiley)

Or another idea - read news about new ICO.

Team activity in marketing and coding is the most important for me. Anything else like listing at known sites is secondary I suppose.

Certainly a strong dev team and key business relationships. If you don't know have or know the right people, you won't even have a chance.

Hi friends,

I would love your feedback on this. Thanks in advance!

The most important things to me about ICO is the strong leader, without a leader nothing is going to get done, and strong (dev, marketing, business) team behind it, without the team the leader is nothing. Also strong cummunity solving a specific problem that it's really easy for anybody to understand.

Maybe the new concept what they bring to us or dev team. And most important whitepaper and their roadmap. source code of course.
My advice is careful, because although the icon is quite convincing they can be scammers.

The biggest reason why I invest in a project is trust because investing is not losing money.
Before investing, you need to thoroughly examine the people working on the project

Reference from an influencer is by far the most important of the options

All of your criteria have flaws.  They have all failed to determine if the project will turn out to be a scam or crap.

The most reliable criteria is whether the team has already built something that you can use today.

the references I like to follow are the results of discussions from my community, before we join the ico and the campaign, we always discuss and analyze the project, whether the project is good or not.

"Good reference from an influencer in the crypto space." is of course. Vitalik somekinda changed this by supporting everything but his words are credible to me than anything else if he talks about ether token.

Many ico ends successfully but there are also scams, these factors can occur due to unscrupulous individuals in the world of crypto
This requires proper implementation when wanting to invest, including trusted people to manage ico.Reperence from friends can be made as a reference because in ico required trust

Honestly, it's hard to trust a lot of people / reviews in crypto now. It seems like all "key influencers" and reviewers get paid by ICOs to basically market their project, making their reviews basically worthless. I think the most important thing is seeing if the project idea is actually useful / how the team hits development and project goals. If the team delays their developments in their roadmap pre-ICO and are not very responsive to the community, that would be my biggest red flag.
