Hi,
I was wondering why some games or dice sites have more success than others.
What is needed to have success in the Crypto gambling space?
I think the most important is trust, now a days the well established sites are trusted and very successful while if a new site comes along people dont really trust it and only gamble in small amounts to try out and see if it can be trusted. Secondly i think marketing and promoting a site is a necessary thing, if the site provides time to time promotions like free bets or giveaways people are more likely gamble on it.

Do you prefer in-chain games where you don't need to deposit or games where you deposit funds and play?
I personally prefer both, some games like dice can only be played with depositing some funds and i like playing dice from time to time. But some direct blockchain games like luckybit is really good to gamble directly with no hassle of depositing and withdrawing.

It takes the same traits as you would in any business start up.  Perseverance, honesty, motivation, fairness, hard work and a good marketing plan.  But of course having a larger war chest and a good team in the business would really help a lot.  Smiley

Hi,

I was wondering why some games or dice sites have more success than others.

What is needed to have success in the Crypto gambling space?

Do you think gambling is here to stay or it can die in some years?

What do you look when gambling BTC? Is it the bankroll of the site, when it was launched?

Also, what is your favorite Bitcoin game or site to gamble at?

Do you prefer in-chain games where you don't need to deposit or games where you deposit funds and play?

Looking to get some great insights.

good advertisement is the key.

you have to "spread the word" about the business so that everyday people see that business of yours and have it saved into their back of their minds.

and i am not just talking about signature campaigns and banners but also good promotions and giveaways to encourage people to  come and play.

To have success you need to gain some users to play in your site and have a support that could fix player's issue right away.

Gambling won't die because there is money being gained here.

I look at those casino who have good feedback from their users.

My favorite bitcoin game is slots as of now i've made a nice profit from playing slots

Right now, no because some on chain games require confirmation before your bets come in their site

As long as there are gamblers who will play there is a gambling house that will stay for more years. Well on games that doesnt need any cash in to play everyone like that  Cheesy if you want to have success in gambling then you should know more about games and how to apply some stratedgies that may help you to win. My favorite is poker for fun gaming ,sportsbet and dice for profit making.

To have success you should have control over you actions in the game.
and for me Gambling will also stays for a
very long time until there are people in the world there will be gambling.

What I am looking for is the legibility of the site.

My fav. game is poker, cause it uses more skill than luck.

According To Me If you Want to Make Your Gambling Website Popular then You have to take the Following Steps:-
1) Firstly You Need a Bigger Bankroll To Pay the Users Of Your Casino...
2) Then You Need to Make a Good Marketing Team and Stertagy to Make Your Casino Popular.....
3) After that You Need to Gain Some Trust in the Forum Only Then You Can Be Successful in this Industry......

I think a good site/offer and owner/customer support is needed to have success. If the site and the game it offers are good, together with an approachable owner or even customer support, it can gain trust of people. In my opinion, the possibility that gambling will die is very little and taking action to prevent it will take several years if it will be pushed to happen. When I gamble, I'm mostly checking the reputation of the site and of course, the game itself. I'm not playing that often, but sometimes I play on moneypot apps (specifically the minesweeper type of game). I prefer those sites with faucet, so that I won't be required to deposit before I can play. This way, I can play just for fun.

1.You need to be trustworthy. This can only be achieved over time by paying on time and everytime. Making instant withdrawals and processing right away is a good approach to do so.

2.Second you need a lot of advertising. Since this community is extremely big, the best advertising you can get is through a signature campaign for your own casino here. Make a really high paying signature and accept maximum 8-10 promoters and choose only those with the best quality post. Make  a condition that certain number of posts should be in the gambling and gambling discussion board, as here is where many of the gamblers read.

3. Keep being trustworthy and results will come naturally. You have to fight a hard battle against many other well known casinos here but this is the only approach you need to get players to your casino.

Bitcoin gambling becomes a very saturated market, so you have to do a lot of work to create a popular gambling site.

First you need to make a very good user interface, players must always feel comfortable and never get annoyed even after hours spent on your site.

The second important thing is chat - people will simply stay and gamble more if they can talk with other players.

After that comes all additional features like bonuses, tournaments, faucet, etc.

After launch you just need to heavily invest in advertising and never stop looking for opportunities to promote your casino.

I suspect the most important factor is trust. People will happily bet thousands of dollars on a pretty much anything as long as they can trust it's fair and if they win they'll get paid.

People have been gambling for thousands of years, I really don't see that changing.

Somewhere that is provably fair (I'm a paranoid guy, I like to verify the results myself) and someone where I know I won't get screwed.

I run my own casino, and have more variance in my life than I would like -- so I haven't gambled in quite a while now. But if I were to gamble right now, I'd probably do so on PrimeDice or BitDice.me. There's nothing particularly special about those sites, but they've been around a while and processed a lot of bets/players/wins and  I've never heard any (legitimate) grumblings. There's a lot of other trustworthy sites out there too, but I haven't really played enough (or at all) to make an informed decision. In the end, I don't care that much about the site as long as they fill the basic requirements.

I don't like on-chain games, and they don't seem to be very popular. I don't see that changing, unless possibly the event of the lightning network. But even that's not technically on-chain. They're expensive (paying 2x transaction fees each round) and offer a horrible UX. I would personally never use an on-chain game, unless I was betting a very large amount of money (to make the fees trivial) and offered very significant advantages (preferably: it being totally trustless, which I've figured out is possible to do in bitcoin's scripting language) or perhaps like luckyb.it where if they robbed me, I would have a public fraud-proof. That's pretty cool too.
