Presently, the future of Nigeria is bleak. No one knows what might likely take place in times ahead. The dreams of the founding fathers about the country and the gloomy situations are terrible. Several blames have been channeled to the leadership.
But Nigeria per se is a nation that requires all to be included in the oil rents mostly the unemployed ones. The political will has to be cultivated to bring about a better ideas.

Dreamer wake up because dreaming about the country is adding more sorrow to your pains, no be today I don comot mind for the kind of things I dey see for the country where nepotism, favoritism, man no man and politicians covering there messes dreams on such environment is waste of time.

Protest and government shooting direct us not new tin in Nigeria only a foolish one that don't want to remove mind a find it's daily bread for they rally around for unfruitful protest that is 50-50 in terms of loss of life, if your here endsars what happened all the peaceful protest how far no be loss loss people they loss life.

Before protest go generate as your dream stated people go even tag organizer enemies to the government nation that ethnicity and relijion has eaten deeper than repair.

My opinion is to remove mind to avoid such dream, your dream can only come true is there is a total cleansing because you can't get any thing good from a faulty foundation. Where they protect and celebrate people that commit crime and purnish the innocent. Example I hard instant they killed hungry boy with just a handful of garri he collected from a shop without paying, but people loot and embezzled billions and other resources government will tell them to join the ruling party their sin of looting is forgiven and we citizens we celebrate them. Don't dream in country like that  because expect no result.

it’s hard to say things or advices when i am not even from nigeria. no one else better can explain how is the situation of your family and your other countrymen than you, a citizen of the country. but generally i think you should spread more knowledge about what is right and what should be done so that people are aware and educated. with this people will rally, protest and put pressure to the government

Democracy is not the solution to the problem of Nigeria. Nigerians don't care about who rules them or how long these leaders stay in power what they simply want is good governance. Most countries in Africa practice democratic government where the citizens vote for their leaders but these voters become disappointed because of corruption. African politicians are heartless criminals who derive joy from seeing people suffer and die in poverty. Libya under Muammar Ghadaffi had one of the best economies in the world but it was not a true democratic nation. The late leader of the North African country ensured that the citizens of the country enjoyed good living conditions.

Nigerians will enjoy the rich natural resources they are blessed with only if they can force these corrupt but powerful politicians out of power and conduct free and fair elections. And it can happen through revolution until the citizens engage in fearless protests, nothing good will come out of the acclaimed giant of Africa.
You make a lot of sense, I believe the problem of Nigeria is not about Democracy, even if Nigeria stops democratic rule of government, with bad leaders there'll be no change, that's to say that the problem of the country lies with corrupt government, not only the politicians but other arms of government like the executives, Judiciary and legislators. If you watch closely all arms of government in that nation is corrupt making it difficult for them to progress.

When Nigerian citizens sit up and challenge it's government stop listening to their lies and force them to make the right decisions then I think there would be a change in the countries economy and all other sectors, Nigeria is blessed with alot of resources but with corrupt leaders and their won't be a change until all those corrupt leaders are kicked out.

Lastly I'll say that a country where the richest people are politicians cannot grow economically, the bad thing is that these bad politicians invest in other countries economy while they impoverish their citizens making the economy to crumble, well there are still good leaders in the country but the bad ones are more superior and much more than the good ones, hence the unstable economy and poverty rate, which has increased the crime rate in the country.

At every phase of life, there is this very part which becomes difficult like whole world is falling on them but yet a time will also come when everything becomes so fruitful and satisfying like we bribed God. Nigeria is currently facing a downside and I see it as part of a new revolution to attain greatness and standard economy.

It is never possible to live smoothly in any country without proper government system.  Proper governance is essential for a country to run properly.  Democracy alone does not make a country well-organized.  If the government is good, the country will be developed and ideal.  Moreover, the entire administrative system of a country depends on the government.  Moreover, the country's people and system must also be exemplary.
You are correct.  People can't keep quit when government is not doing the right thing, people deserve good governance. If the government don't do the necessary things I think things may even become worse because when country is having challenges like this citizens would want to do anything just to demonstrate their rights.  Government needs to try their best to improve the economy.

Nigeria need government that can completely eradicate the corruption and that's what keeping the citizens of that country poor even after they do everything they can. But people have no time to follow such things cause their own life is at difficult phase everyday and this is one of the tactics followed by many governments to keep their busy with problems after problems so they can enjoy all the perks.

What posible solutions do u think Nigeria needs to be a better place please give your thoughts

I have never been here, but I really love the people in this land. I know Nigeria has the potential to become a strong and prosperous nation, but to achieve this it is necessary to address the challenges facing it. Nigerians need to unite and work together to build a better future for the country.

Issues of corruption, political instability, economic inequality and security have hindered the country's development and frustrated many Nigerians. But I know that behind the scenes there are always efforts to solve the country's problems and build a better future for everyone. This is a young country with a large and dynamic population, they also have rich natural resources and huge economic development potential. Still an important factor for every country, their future depends on the people of that country, working together to unite, I firmly believe you will build a better future.

My fear about Nigeria
...
What posible solutions do u think Nigeria needs to be a better place please give your thoughts

It is not only about the government or political system which is prevalent in a country, it is also about the mentality and culture of the people who lives in that country. What is a country without it's people? Nothing. The people of the country is the country itself.
It happens the same here in Venezuela and other countries of latin America, you know, basically we have the governments we deserve, because of our crippling ignorance and lack of education on politics.
What would happen, for example if all the people in Nigeria exchanged their country with the Japanese population? They will rise the country very quickly and make Nigeria an African power, because of the system of honor and the way of thinking they have about their country. They are willing to sacrifice for their country and the development of the country. Because of examples like Japan or Germany, I believe there is still much to learn from other cultures, which have proven to be more efficient than many of our administrations.

Nigeria has a lot of potential, it is well positioned in Africa, and the people of Nigeria is willing to push forward (hence their adoption for Bitcoin) but their own political culture are dragging them down.

My fear about Nigeria
Nigeria has been a country of promising dream and a better future to it's young citizens but with the look of things it seems like time is revealing the actual fate for Nigerians, the dream people had when they were much younger only to grow up and realize that the system does not allow dreams come through .
Just some days back I had a dream about Nigeria and in my dream I saw people running up and down and protested left, right and center and I came to discover that they were protesting against the government and the government ordered that they be shot directly at and that was how people were dieing in their numbers and it became a serious issue that led the country to a very devastated state  with the way things are going in this country it's looking like there is no hope for the country on a daily basis
The solution to all this lies in democracy for as long as we can not have democracy there can never be good gorvernance the system in the Nigerian politics needs a total reformation to make it work
What posible solutions do u think Nigeria needs to be a better place please give your thoughts

I don't know what you must have heard about Nigeria or the news you've read about Nigeria, but from your storyline I can deduce that you're talking about the End Sars protest that happened in 2020 October, where some military men where shooting live bullets on peaceful civilians that were protesting.

If a country is experiencing leadership failure citizens will always come out to protest, Nigerians have been doing that over the years with the hope of getting leaders that will solve their problem outrightly. It's a tall dream as to wanting to solving the burning issues affecting Nigerians and Nigeria, however I believe Nigerians Will survive this phase of democracy we are actually experiencing at the moment because we are people that always keep hope alive and will strive to make things better for ourselves not wanting to wait on government because that will be more like an endless wait.

OP, your dream is in the right track, Nigeria is in coma waiting for the right time to give up, the leaders has death with the citizens to the extent that the only option left for Nigerians is to go to the street for protest, a country like Nigeria that's blessed with many things is been seen as a laughing stock, I feel for Nigeria, you wake to.buy something now and go back to buy the same thing in the next minute the price has been added, the country is passing through difficult times, I think that what Nigeria needs right now is God intervention, the hope of the citizens has been lost because of lack of trust that exist between the citizens and the government, the possible solution to Nigerian problem now is rebranding and restructuring

Nigeria faces big challenges in political & government stability. They have a problem with their devaluing currency but there is potential for growth & progress. Nigeria has a huge population, rich natural resources & a thriving entrepreneurial spirit. With improved leadership, reforms & investment in key sectors like infrastructure, education & diversification of the economy Nigeria can overcome its obstacles & unlock their true potential. The future of Nigeria depends on the efforts of its government, citizens & international partnerships to help address these challenges & create a stable & prosperous future.

You don’t have to think Ill or voice out a conclusions that you can’t see a change happening for the country soon and always seeing the negative part of the nation thereby making feel or having the narrative that nothing will ever work out in the country and the country will fail big time or woefully. Democracy was meant to be the government of the people, by the people and for the people but the one we are facing does not care about its people which has made many Nigerians lose hope in the country.

I am a Nigerian but I still feel we haven’t gotten that worse as many people have proclaimed it and makes the outsiders feel we are. The solution to Nigeria is us and without our collective efforts and prayers, we can only just continue lamenting without finding the best solution to our problems. If we don’t ourselves become a better citizens, the change we are hoping for will never come.

I always believe that with every hardship comes ease but still the same time, we shouldn’t blindly have hope or exercise patience for something that is not worth it. Nigeria will be good again and with that optimism, we would always look for the best thing in everything we encounter or come through in the country. The future is bright for us all but the change should begin with us by doing the right things from the local community.

This your post doesn't belong to this board and I doubt it even belong to any board in this forum. You'll should know that it's not anything that comes to your mind that you should spill out in the public. What happens to posting this in the Nija board?

Before you had your dream, hasn't Thier been countless number of protest going on around the globe? Or you think things well get worse because you've had a so called dream?

If you have been following up news in CNN, BBC, aljezera and other international news channel you should know that Nigeria isn't facing half of what Ukrainian, Israelis, some part of Cameroon and lots of other part of the world are cing but you don't see anyone talking about those issues here because they understand that bringing it here doesn't in any way solve any problem at all. If you're concerned about whatever issue going on in your country, make a real move that will see to it that sanity is restored back to your country rather than tarnishing the image of your country in this public space

Haha what a hilarious dream, guess your just reviewing the end sars protest, Nigeria situation is a product of bad government and greedy leaders that are totally interested in enriching and saving themselves while leaving the poor masses to suffer.

Nigeria might never be fixed but it could be managed, all we need is one good president and is fine many great countries was as a result of good leaders, if Nigeria gets better leader, it would be okay.

In my honest opinion only good thing happening in Nigeria is the rise and rise of Dangote group as the single largest industrial conglomerate in the African Continent. The founders are wise enough to hire many Indian and Asian managers to run their operations. God Bless Dangote Group and Nigeria!
