Sharding can be described as a few well known strategies being investigated by developers to increment value-based throughput. Basically sharding is a method for parceling to spread out the computational and capacity outstanding task at hand over a distributed P2P organize with the goal that every hub isn't in charge of preparing the whole system's value-based burden. To me sharding is the solution to scalability issues plaguing most blockchain projects today

Sharding is one of many ideas how to solve problems with scabillity. I think that Vitalik Buterin comes first with this idea. Casper is another solution that can help Ethereum to process more transactions in same time.

Sharding happens to be a hot topic right now for scalability but I find it interesting that Solana is coming in with a different approach. Anti-sharding and will have higher TPS than say ETH when it implements sharding
