That in 2018 BTC would be where it is.

Further adoption globally by all types of people

Adoption by traders willing to accept crypto as payment

That other great projects would mushroom around BTC

I wish I knew that blockchain.info was the worst website imaginable, and that Zcash would undergo a gigantic spike upon its release.

Obviously I also wish I knew that Bitcoin Gold would be completely useless, rather than buying into the hype.

I wish I had known that people were going view cryptocurrencies as a get-rich-quick scheme. If I had known that, I would have bought ten times as many bitcoins when I bought them 7 years ago.

When I bought bitcoins (and used them), I thought Bitcoin had a great potential for being an alternative currency. I never imagined that so many people would buy it just to hold it.

I would like to know how to distinguish fraudulent projects from real and promising ones. Now I already know that you need to look at the team, sponsors, partners, technical equipment of ICO, but earlier I did not know this information and several times I got on scammers. I think it is necessary to compile as completely as possible a list of criteria for choosing worthy projects and sharing them with newcomers in the crypto-currency area.

About cryptocurrency generally especially bitcoin. I wish i knew about it long ago, I wish I hadn't procrastinated on investing in cryptocurrency back then when it started out, probably, i would have held more coins than I am holding now. And also regret not investigating in some particular coins back then. Now the prices are high and buying to store then seems a bit difficult for me. I guess we all might have made mistakes.

I wish that I knew about the market having a massive runup in January, I would've held my bitcoin when I bought it around $400 and sold it for 20k. But then again, hindsight is 20 20 and there is ZERO CHANCE I would've held through the entire runnup. Or I would've got greedy and missed the peak.

That's how it goes in investing.

I hope I know more about pump and dump earlier. Few years ago when I first started trading, I saw some coins’ prices increase rapidly and got excited. Hence, I bought the coins and didn’t sell in time and became a bag holder.

I personally did a lot of mistakes in the past when I stumbled upon cryptocurrencies. For example I kept some of the coins for long term holding on exchanges. Some of them went out of business and I did not get a refund for them.
