Providing a thousand of people each their own address doesn't seem necessary. Keeping like 5-10 should be enough.
It's highly doubtful to get thousands of investors also, hundreds perhaps.

my only concern using bct for crowfunding is the scalability part.
I could manage the payment address for 5 people, 50 people.
But if I have to provide 500 different addresses or 5000, that's gonna be impossible for me.
I really expect 5k people to be interested...

why you ignored bitcointalk? bitcointalk is no doubt the biggest crowdfunding platform for cryptocurrency..
even though it is the forum of bitcoin but it has the biggest market of crypto currency.
there is no better platform than bitcoin talk to crowdfuning for your coin.. I see a lot of coins getting huge investers from here.

Agree, bitcointalk is the place to be for crowdfunding a Crypto project, if you add that to the list it will give a better idea when you see the results. even though it is the forum of bitcoin but it has the biggest market of crypto currency.
