What US based exchange do you recommend for acquiring bitcoin?
The US imposes huge regulatory pressure on crypto exchanges by the CFTC, which makes there an obstacle for traders and investors in the US to determine the appropriate exchange platform for them, the good thing is that despite these regulatory pressures there are a number of good central exchanges in the US for Bitcoin that can the traders uses them to buy and sell and hold crypto safely, including these platforms is the Coinbase platform, as it is one of the best safe and reliable exchanges in the United States and in the whole world, and it has millions of users and has a lot of supported currencies other than Bitcoin, and people residing in the US can trade an unlimited amount of cryptocurrency per day, and Coinbase supports USD deposits and purchases with debit cards.

It depends on what your definition of "best" is as everyone most definitely has their own definition for that based on their various personal opinions and on that note, I find BinanceUS and MEXCGlobal very conducive for bitcoin transactions, but I use the latter more frequently due to its user friendly interface and it offers different payment and purchase options for buying bitcoin such as; P2P/OTC Trading, credit/debit card purchase, third-party payment and Global bank transfer. Just find a method that is best suitable and convenient for you and you're good.

Those who have not tried coinbaazar.com , should take some time out and check ... its the best and most legit bitcoin marketplace
I believe you're not even use this exchange and just blatantly recommend this exchange without read the terms of service first.

I just visited the site and I read on the terms of service if they're not allow for US/America citizens.

Allowed Jurisdictions
This Understanding and your utilization of the Site and Services will be represented by and understood as per the Territory of Tbilisi, Georgia regardless of standards of contention of laws.

Don’t offer the utilization of its services in the Provinces of New York or Washington in the United States of America. You affirm that you are not an occupant or represented by the laws and guidelines of these jurisdictions.

Not many exchange are offering US citizens because of the strict regulations, so it's kind tricky and hard to pick the best exchange. @OP you can use Bisq if you're care about your privacy, there's no limitation or restricted countries.

Well that's something doesn't qualify for what you mentioned because it never mentioned they are not allowed in USA, it specifically mentioned what you just quoted, though apart from that it can used anywhere in usa, and its a global marketplace .. Moreover its just a recommendation what the OP has asked for...

Only BTC
It is everyone's hope that such an undesirable event does not happen in 2023.
Nobody wants another human to lose their money, but also nobody should rely on 'hope' with centralized exchanges and services, there is nothing that changed about centralized exchanges and services in this new year, so nobody should store their money in them and 'hope' that another collapse doesn't happen, because it can and there are many signs of it.
What US based exchange do you recommend for acquiring bitcoin?
You can use a decentralized exchange like Bisq to acquire your BTC and keep your personal information, or you can use a centralized exchange like Binance.us and give out your personal information, but make sure your move your BTC to your self-custody wallet after trading in either of them.

OP should only use Coinbase, the leading US exchange, or can choose Binance.us, the US-specific product of the world's largest exchange Binance. If I were in the US, I would use coinbase, I find it the safest.
There are lots of negative reviews regarding user experience on binance.US, aside from its not available on all states, it has bad support .
I agree coinbase is the most popular exchange on the US imo, but not every user doesn't have the same experience so expect a little bumpy road ahead.

What US based exchange do you recommend for acquiring bitcoin?
Exchanges are an important topic in cryptocurrency, although 2022 ended with the scandals and bankruptcies of several centralized exchanges.  It is everyone's hope that such an undesirable event does not happen in 2023.
The USA is an important country in cryptocurrency.  Many people in this country are directly and indirectly involved in cryptocurrencies, so they use various exchanges for cryptocurrency transactions every day.  However, some of the most popular exchanges that have emerged in America at this time are mentioned below.

Coinbase
Binance US
CEX.io
GEMINI
Kraken

On this list, I think you should remove Gemini because of the problem they are having in November 2022, they have to suspend withdrawals due to the FTX crash. I don't know if they have restored everything, but it seems they still haven't resolved the issue, and things are getting increasingly tense as they and the DGC are accusing each other.

OP should only use Coinbase, the leading US exchange, or can choose Binance.us, the US-specific product of the world's largest exchange Binance. If I were in the US, I would use coinbase, I find it the safest.

Block halving is coming.
Coinbase and Binance.us are exchanges that I think are currently the best option for people who wants to buy or trade Crypto the only problem is if you are ready to submit and verify the KYC procedure it requires some personal documents and a selfie.

Or if you just want to buy Bitcoin and don't want to expose most of your personal documents there are some other options like using a P2P exchange like Bisq or using Bitcoin ATM near your area(BitcoinATM has a limit if you increase more than the limit it will ask for KYC).
If you want to check if there is Bitcoin ATM near you then check this link https://coinatmradar.com/
