I agree, among all tokens and coins If I will be asked what will be the best investment for the next halving? it could be bitcoin or eth. Spending your money to top 1 and top 2 coin in the world will not be useless even though they may encounter some dip in the few days still there will be a greater chance that it will be bounce back again, everytime I will have some extra I always converted it to bitcoin.
Bitcoin, no doubt.
And then ETH and the other altcoins will come to follow bitcoin's halving effect and that is to increase in price and value. Having the right time to buy during the dip is the perfect time and opportunity. That's where people have the problem of not being satisfied because they think that it's not a good time to buy when the market is dipping.

Bitcoin is GOD
I think first of all btc is the king of crypto market so you cam bought it with follow deep price. Otherwise you need extra money and ideas if you want to purchase other tokens. In fact we enjoy providing our own profits but we can never give you 100% guarantee that any token can always make you profitable.
This is the type of seriousness we need from everyone suggests stuff to others. I mean there are so many people who say that we should be buying enough money and should be all-in some stupid silly coin and they are fully serious about it.

This could be funny to you or me because we know that nobody could be sure and guarantee any profit but at the same time, yet when we are talking about the current situation then we could be making a good return by checking what we should invest right now. Doesn't mean that we could be making a profit just ourselves, but it would be smarter to do it that way instead of just believe in what others are saying.
I will never understand why anyone would go all-in in a coin they know nothing about, I could understand if they invested lets say 1% of their capital in such a coin as a way to increase the profitability of their portfolio, that way if they happen to lose that investment they can easily recover it from the other coins they have in their portfolio and in the case the coin went up very rapidly then they could make a decent amount of money.

But going all-in means that your economic future depends entirely on your ability to select the right coin, something that even the best investors would never do, as the risk you are taking by such decision is so high that it does not matter if you succeed or not as it is simply the wrong choice no matter how you look at it.

If you are a beginner, then you definitely should not invest based on someone else's recommendations. You are now at such a young age that you have enough time to start studying cryptocurrency, and to understand its advantages and disadvantages. And it is possible that by the next halving you will be able to independently make decisions about which coin you need to invest in.
At a fairly young age, it's lucky you know crypto. I think if he's a beginner then he's still quite a lot of time to learn. In my opinion, of course, BTC, BNB and ETH are the most powerful coins at the moment. I think it's the best option, maybe some new chain like Polygon, which definitely has real uses and has a pretty big fan base with a good history it's a little promising for you to hold on to long term. But that's in my opinion, and not advice for your investments. In addition, I also hope that confidence in Halving is still a guide and the market will change Bulish and reach a new high price followed by all coins. May that cycle continue to repeat itself and continue for the next halving period.

For me the best investment will always be BTC, no matter how many halvings there are, it was shown that in the last time of halving after it ended there was a big bullish trend that BTC thought was going to reach $100k but it didn't happen , so if OP wants to have the best investment advice, I advise him to buy as much BTC as possible so that over time he will have very good profits. If you buy at this time it would be ideal because radically you would be saving with a return higher than 24% that no bank in the world offers annually, you will always be below these percentages, and with a lot of inaccuracy because if there is a fall in the world economy, you will no longer an estimate would be available.

Idea maybe but extra money? Not really, because you can just divide the money that supposed to go only for btc, if what you want is to have a diverse portfolio. Altcoins are cheaper than in btc and you will only need to invest a small portion of them because alts can be riskier than in btc. Btc is still going to be our main investment here.

There is no such thing as 100% guarantee here in cryptos because cryptos are volatile and unpredictable. Even btc that is considered to be the safest coin still cant guarantee that it can give you your desired profit because bears or corrections can come unexpectedly but you will be fine as long as you don't rattle.

Hi, I'm new to bitcointalk.
I'm only 15 years old and I'm Brazilian, I want to know which is the best long-term investment.

for the next bitcoin halving Huh

Hi buddy. When you are talking about bitcoin halving it indicates that the only coin you should invest in would be bitcoin itself.
Don't go for altcoin investments if you want to take the benefit out of bitcoin halving.
Besides that if you are asking in general about the best altcoin investments then I think Ethereum and Binance coin would be better coins for investing.

Also, I would advice you keep reading posts on this forum and even the comments because sometimes you get very valuable information from those posts.
You are quite young which gives you the benefit to learn and groom yourself a lot. So keep reading and learning about various crypto stuff.
We all are here to help and guide you the right way forward.

Good for you, you're still young and quite eager to start investing. Regarding your question, the answer is popular coins, and there is nothing better than bitcoin itself. You can see history from year to year about the effects that occur after Halving on Bitcoin and other popular altcoin in Coinmarketcap. In addition to that investment, the potential remains, it's just that the risks faced are also getting bigger. If you just join the investment world, and want to start investing little by little, then start with the lowest risk, and that is a popular coin. However, you also need to understand the existing risks, because no matter how good the investment is, the risk will still be there.

Welcome, bro.
I guess you are just a new member here, but you know well Bitcoin already.
If you ask about the best coin for investment, it should be Bitcoin.
You are lucky that you come at the right time, we are entering the bearish season and it is the best time to buy Bitcoin. Many people predicted that Bitcoin will drop below $20k before it may create a new ATH in the next bullish season/BTC halving season. So, you just need to prepare your money to buy Bitcoin once the price drops below $20k. However, do your own research before buying, there is no information about what exact price to be the bottom price of BTC in this bearish season.

It is not just something for the beginners or the young people, nobody should ever invest based on anyone's recommendation. If you are going to take something from someone, then take how to trade or how to invest, not what to. If someone tells you to invest into anything other than bitcoin which is the top ranked coin hence hwy it is trusted by everyone equally, then you should avoid that.

For a 15 year old, life is fast and it is always going to be something like "I need to get rich right now!!" so that they could live a good life, they want money as soon as possible so that they can do all the great things young people can do, but what they do not realize is that they have more time than all of us.

If you are already anticipating for the next halving then why not simply hodl bitcoin as you wait. There are lots of project that might have promissory ROI but to be on the safe side and avoid falling for scam project stick to Bitcoin except you are willing to do your personal research on other projects. The crypto world is full of volatile assets and to stay bullish on the volatile nature is what investors live up to and keeping up to this requires research and research before investing
It is really a good choice to have bitcoin in investment portfolio if one is expecting post-halving gains. It makes no sense for them to target profits without considering bitcoin as one of the best among thousands of other altcoin, so the bottom line is that bitcoin should not be ignored.

Some other best advice in my opinion is, the OP could check out some of the potential altcoin on the current top list in market cap including ETH, BNB or others. Of course I don't think stablecoin is the best case for long term investing, so there are only a few that might be better than picking them at random.

How I wish I am that crazy about investing when I was 15.  Cheesy All I thought about at that age were girls that I like.
Anyway, starting young is not a bad thing, some may say you go back to school but being invested early could make you realize how important money and time is.
The answer is actually in your opening post. It's Bitcoin halving that you mentioned, better to have Bitcoin before that time comes. Long-term it is.

You're lucky for you to have known cryptocurrency at a very young age. It's also a good thing that you're on the right forum because you'll surely learn a lot from experienced traders here. Halving has a huge impact on Bitcoin so it would be best to invest in it but before that, I suggest that you'll get to know more about how the market works during halving. Never get tired of researching because trading and crypto investing is a long process of learning.

You are welcome, First of all i would like to tell you to think thrice before invest. Since you are much younger then you have to wait for gather more experience. But since Long Tram Investment is mentioned, it is a good decision. Initially I think the first 10 coins are suitable according to the ranking including Bitcoin, Etherium, BNB and Solana.

Just think about which coin would probably survive along with this bear market and choose the coins that we know it will surely pump during the halving.

It doesn't matter with your young age as even a 10-year-old can invest.
What just you need is to become familiar with the market, checking on the https://coinmarketcap.com/ gives you an idea of which coin would like to buy. Yet, it was important for you to conduct research...But I suggest buying Bitcoin.

Hello Brazilian I am very happy to see you here. You choice is very good and definitely you can invest in Bitcoin to get good returns.  Bitcoin next halving is in 2024 and it's it's very near. It's right time to invest in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is already 50% down from ATH.  You can invest in Bitcoin in different parts to get a massive amount of profit.

Most amazing with you OP because still 15 years old have ideas and good decision investment for the future on cryptocurrency, I don't know what have I did trough 15 years old. Maybe play with my friend and still do not know about investment assets between cryptocurrency or other kind of investing. Maybe I can give you way with cryptocurrency trading for the future by investing on top potential coin, invest on BNB, ETH and BTC only as long term investment and you can get much profit later when you pass school or have 20 years old. Not worry with BTC, BNB and ETH are best coins investment for the future.

As an option, of course - to consider the NFT. In addition, I am increasingly looking towards classic investment options such as gold or real estate.
Investing in NFTs is a huge risk that he does not need to take, as long as you are willing to buy bitcoin whenever you have some money available and you can hold it for the long term then you are going to do extremely well, NFTs are simply too risky and are for those that have a deep knowledge about that market and that believe they can predict the preferences of the people regarding NFTs in the short term, otherwise if you try to hold your NFT for too long most likely by the time you want to sell it there is not going to be anyone interested in buying it.

At this current bear market season we can see that even how supposed to be a good project we can see them flop and the price of their tokens has been dumped so bad and for thinking to invest on new project there's a huge risk underneath because we don't know if the project will succeed or we get our capital back since mostly what I see that even if they new they still fail to meet the demand on new buyers that's why the price of their tokens drop so bad.

I would suggest you to accumulate maximum satoshis of bitcoin as possible while the price is still cheap. There is a decent amount of time until next halving, which gives you perfect conditions to build your portfolio by there. It can be difficult for teenagers to grow their crypto holdings, because they lack income and rely on parents and relatives to have access to basic goods and services, but make some sacrifice if you worry about your future. Save money you receive, invest in bitcoin and also look for earnings opportunities on the internet, even though the payrates aren't good. Every pennies invested in satoshis worth in preparation for the next bull run.

Take the example of the hard-working ants which don't waste a single leaf when gathering supplies for the winter.

What coin is a good coin to be invest in facing the halving is Bitcoin itself.

I'm guessing, if you are at your current age you are still in school and of course the savings or investment you mean for your future, right? I would personally suggest Bitcoin and don't bet on shitcoins. If you focus on buying and holding BTC before the halving, I'm sure you'll get a profit that's worth it.

Even now, the bitcoin price is very supportive of making purchases because it has dropped drastically from ATH.

Focus on Bitcoin, don't be provoked or tempted by shitcoins that don't provide profits, but provide losses. You will focus on studies because you are still in school, your investment here may not necessarily be monitored every day, so my conclusion from some experiences that my friends and I have experienced is better in Bitcoin, with its track record without being monitored every day BTC is able to provide huge profits after the halving event, exactly one year after the halving BTC will form ATH.

Gamble responsibly
^ BTC for sure!
Next halving will occur every after 4 years which makes the price increase the whole crypto market since all altcoins also swing the price when BTC grows up. So it is a safe place to invest BTC because of halving which is expected that it will have a huge impact on the price, we have been proved this for how many years, every halving come BTC price increase massively. Therefore, the best for the long term is no other than aside from BTC. Why we choose altcoin if we don't know them, especially if they also follow the BTC price trend.
I agree with you, after halving, people fomo and buy bitcoin, because of this, the price increase. It has been like this since when bitcoin was created.

Though bitcoin halves every four years (every 210 blocks mined to be precise), but the next halving is just not more than 2 years from now, let us expect the next bitcoin halving to be in 2024 and it would be early 2024.

As for altcoins, there are plenty of shitcoins and anyone among them can become pump and dump just like Luna and UST, but some altcoins can give 10x or more during bull run.

You will expect that many people will recommend Bitcoin as this was the best option.
it is not all about being known to the crypto market but it is a matter of how this coin is worth in the future. Imagine that from $0 and it continues to rally that it reaches $60k last Bullrun, it probably there's more it happens to Bitcoin.

But being considerate of the risk in investing in Bitcoin alone, it could be wise to split investment to altcoins.
You can find a lot of them https://coinmarketcap.com/. Just do the search first and I suggest looking first at the old coins.

More number of young people are getting into the market. It was once the market for the people around the range of 35, further it got lowered around 20 and now very young people are getting into the market. For now it is good for these guys to learn and do the investment than going with someone's suggetion. But please remember that investment may require risk. Be wise in spending your money for investment and understand at first about cryptocurrency and its risk before investing your money here. Ensure that you are not in panic situation in buying the crypto or in hype or FOMO

Btw, for me, the most recommended crypto to buy for the next halvingwill be Bitcoin only. This  is volatile, but so far, this is the most recommened, worthiest, and also most promising. Although it doesn't guarantee 100%, Bitcoin has that experinece after halving to rise up

To buy good projects seems to be the best deal in the current situation. Bitcoin of course is one at the top of my list, however, considering potential altcoins is also a great idea. I think you need to start filling your bags now.
I believe OP was lucky to enter the market when there was blood in the market but him asking for the best investment is not enough to make him make a profitable investment in crypto because I believe he needs to understand the market first, how to select right investment and how to secure his investment.
Yes, Bitcoin should be the top priority of every crypto investor especially now that it has gained the attention of institutional investors.

This is the real countdown to the next halving

The best investment in next halving? Definitely it’s bitcoin. It’s gonna be bitcoin which will be hampered in terms of pricing. Unfortunately its bad for miners as reward gets dropped by half and they have to either tackle the halved rewards and profitability or increase the mining power. These are some of the reasons which makes price go down but for us it’s opportunity to buy more. Don’t know, we are already way down so I don’t really think we need to await halving period. If you wanna profit then buy now and book the profits.

Oh, come on bro. OP is just a kid. I think that age thing should provide a soft landing for them. We as adults should do our part of pointing them in the right direction.

OP, my candid advice to you is to wait for the bear to subside. From the prism I see things, I believe the bear isn't anywhere close to ending. The next Bitcoin halving is in 2014. I've noticed a pattern that Bitcoin always dips further a year before the halving and then skyrockets a year after the halving. In essence, it will be better to wait out this 2022 and then buy in the last quarters of 2023 for a haul.

Hello there.
No offense, I personally will always prefer to choose Bitcoin as the first choice Yes, Bitcoin will commonly have a high increase after the havling. That is why Bitcoin is the best investment in my opinion. After that, I think I am going to BNB or ETH, but not for the other altcoins.
However, one that should awlays remember dude, you are still 15 YO and you must be aware enough with the risk of crypto investment.
If you are ready with the risk, just do it but always keep searching and analyzing the crypto market. Nothingis easy here. Invest wisely
There's no need to ask of what crypto currency is best to invest in the next halving because Bitcoin is the only one that does halving and make a bull run after that. So you definitely gonna choose Bitcoin over altcoins here, and if you have enough money to buy during this dip congratulations as long as you know how to hodl them for a long term investment. You know the next halving will be happening in the next two years from now and a little more months before the pump. I hope you could focus on holding at that time for too long since it always takes some patience to do it without panic selling.

Bitcoin? I mean why would you want to make it confusing. If you are 15 years old, and let's assume you retire at 65, and the rest is irrelevant if you do not want to, then we are talking about 50 years of working and investing.

If you do just bitcoin and nothing else, sure there will be some other coins that go up and down, but you can ignore it when you have that much time. Your age is to your advantage, I am much older than you and do not have the same time as you do, and still do long term bitcoin holding. Just work hard in your regular life, earn a salary, and put even the tiniest about you could, for 50 years, by the time you are 65, you could literally live off that much money.
This, there have been some studies about this in the past and what was found is that an early and easy retirement had less to do with how much you earned and it had to do more with how much you saved, invested and how early you began, someone that can begin their journey at 15 years old and invest in bitcoin for decades will most likely do great and have an easy retirement, so there is no need to try invest in other altcoins when something like what is happening with luna could happen to you and you could lose decades worth of savings in just a few days.

Well, you answered your own question... The best long-term investment, I will dare say the safest compared with all others, is BTC! For the next Bitcoin halving, the only thing we can do is stack more sats! You can earn some, if you are investing it's good to buy some dips, like now... but not with the whole amount, wait, maybe it will drop more so you can buy more... in that way you can get more sats for the same money! I am saying that cause I think we will have a turbulent period! It was like that before, and believe it will be the same again, the next two years will be full of up and downs, and I am sure we didn't touch the bottom yet!

Since you are new just stay around here, so you can pick your desired coin. By the way, Welcome to the forum and crypto space. You have to fix your target because it's your funds. We can't give you financial advice anyway. We may share our thought only. For example, I am accumulating some ADA & SFP. But that doesn't mean you have to do the same. I am accumulating because of a bear market. I want to take advantage of the bear market. I know it would go down, but I am willing to hold until I have some good profits. So you need to study a bit more before take an investment decision.

Bitcoin is also/already included when you say the words bitcointalk and bitcoinhalving. Wasn't that obvious enough?

First and foremost, you need to spend time studying the market. Coz if I/we do suggestion but you don't understand it, that seems useless. It is a need for you to know more about cryptocurrencies. There are thousands of coins available in the market and not all of them are worth investing in.

Anyways, you can check the top 20 coins in the market, they are indeed potential for long-term and short-term investment.
*BTC
*ETH
*BNB
*Solana

I guess they are enough for you as starters. Of course, it is a need for you to have some knowledge about them.

You've already mentioned it, don't go far away.
Bitcoin was survived for how many years of existence since day one when it was created and until now still kicking on mainstream, do you think isn't a good opportunity if you'll have full support for Bitcoin?

Look at the previous price of Bitcoin based on Statista, we've hit twice the all-time high in the market price history and now, you think will not grow up after next halving?

Agree Bitcoin is the best when it comes to consistency on price growth and also less volatility but Altcoins is better on profit percentage coz it's more volatile than Bitcoin. If the OP is lucky enought to scoop the right altcoins on the right price. He might get a profit that worth more than a Bitcoin growth for a long time.

But of course this a high risk high reward method so it's to the OP what kind of trader he is. Aggressive or Passive.

I like it how he has started so early and asking investment questions. I’m not sure how you convinced your parents but this is really good. Being young you should be very cautious while investing your money. Most probably your money is from either your pocket money or may be part time job if you doing so.

Well halving usually makes crypto towards bearish trend for some reason, may be miners start booking their profits as they know rewards will be halved as well. However, this is the time when one should be buying a lot.
Being young means that they do not have to risk it, because they have a lot of time to get rich, but at the same time you are a dreamer when you are that young as well, he needs to find that right balance. Sure, being a dreamer means that you get to dream something first, before you can achieve it but many dreamers end up with nothing, so you should be careful as well.

This is why I believe that the best thing to do at that moment is to focus on the future and dream about a situation where you are super wealthy when you are 50, but still working regular jobs all through your 20's as well. This will allow you to be much better and can wait for longer.

You're doing the best thing a 15 year old can copy.

It's all about the stability of the investment that you're about to buy and bitcoin is the choice that a newbie can make. Not just because of it being the king of the market.

But fundamentally and economically, bitcoin stands as the best of them all. No debates but only proof of the market's existence ever since.

If you're lazy enough to do some research on what you will choose, go for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the safest coin to buy that suits beginners that wants to make profit in long term investment. Just install an app that will trigger an alarm once Bitcoin hit the specific price you want to sell it. It might take some time before that happens but it's worth the wait.

Welcome to the crypto space  brother! For you my advice it to study first different things in crypto. You may check binance, I know they have the tutorial for beginners. Then by doing that you will be given little idea about trading, then try to watch for more strategies on YouTube, then apply it by trading little by little. Don't ask for what is the best coin or token to invested with, but of course you don't need to doubt bitcoin.

The answer is Bitcoin, I don't see any coins have performed better than Bitcoin in the long term until now. Even there are so many altcoins listed on coinmarketcap or coingecko, currently we have around 19,000+ crypto, but Bitcoin's dominance is still higher than other 18,999+ crypto.

If I may suggest don't leave Bitcoin, ETH and BNB, I don't believe in other types of crypto, even though some people think it's good, it's their choice.

Talking about halving, of course the phenomenon only focuses on Bitcoin, if you want to invest for a certain time in the next 2-3 years, I'd prefer if you do it on the 3 types of crypto that I mentioned above.

We've seen bad things in the near future with other coins, Bitcoin, ETH and BNB still have full trust by crypto users, generally.

It's encouraging to see young ones having the desire to grow in such a way. But this investment and growth in the crypto market doesn't come by easily. It means you'd have to put in some work even after knowing or deciding which to invest in. I would say bitcoin is the best but then one has to be able to afford it. You need to know how the market works and understand the statistics. But at the same time there are alt coins you can go for as well that are much more affordable and can turn out to be very much profitable, be it long or short.

The best long term investment is bitcoin for you as you are young and have lot of years to actually cash out your returns so this is best for you.Above it you can get more btc at this time during the dip and you don't need to fear it like others or get away with all the FUD at this time. You can go with DCA investment in bitcoin holding long term and you will get good returns.

Luna? Lol joking of course. It was a short period of time good thing to buy UST as imagined, it is pegged to 1 dollar and everyone lost hope about that so much that the price dropped to 30 cents for a while, so it was a good buy at that level but how would we know that it would survive? At the end of the day it did, but there was no guarantee that it would, which is why I totally understand people who didn't.

Real answer is definitely bitcoin I agree with everyone, its such a good coin and it does provide great returns to people and everyone should be buying as much as they possibly can without hurting their finances too much.

Wow! Impressive!!! At age 15 and your already thinking of investing in the crypto field, that's something that doesn't come around everyday. I mean, teens going about the teenage things, trying to stay top, best everyone and buy stuffs that makes them look cool but, think of a crypto investment and following up on the bitcoin halving is out of it.

Anyway, welcome and just to kite, there is a popular rule amongst investors and gamblers that goes, "invest only what you can afford to loose or spare cash". Do that and your safe enough on all your investment and safe here deonst mean you can't encounter loss but, you can handle it.

Again, when it comes to a project to invest in, its never always reassuring wherever you turn in the crypto space. It could go south anytime and it would be no ones fault. There is a relative safety in bitcoin though but, you've got to hodl until the activities starts coming.

Your age is not a disadvantage but an advantage, the sooner you begin your investing career the sooner you will reap the benefits, now most likely the problem in your case will be the size of your capital and how much you will be able to obtain during the next years, so when I take all of that into account I think it is better for you to take the safest path and just invest in bitcoin instead of trying your luck with altcoins, since you have no way to know which altcoins will survive during the next years.

Sorry for being harsh here, but why invest if you're not willing to do the work and make the decisions yourself?

But just to answer your question, the next halving is like 2 years away. A huge majority of coins and tokens in the cryptocurrency space have the tendency to be fleeting — where 'good' coins/tokens to buy today will be totally different in just a few months; hence why it's really difficult to say what the good buys will be outside BTC. 2 years is like 20 years in the cryptocurrency space.
I think he is trying to say you should start the investment in yourself. Read as much as u can in this forum, get on twitter and follow as much influencers and group on it. Learn the idea of trading on both decentralized and centralized exchange. Learn how to open wallet and keep it safe. As u start getting fund buy reliable stable coin not the algorithm stable coin in your wallet. You can decide when to start buying the market in less than 2 years. Before then you might to know about investment in crowdsale etc

Welcome to the forum!

It is about 2 years before the next halving occurs. The best long-term investment is always bitcoin. It is inevitably everlasting, it has gained a lot of reputation years by years and many investors have considered bitcoin as a safe haven for their capital. Many expect that bitcoin will surpass $100000 in the next 4 year cycle and I believe it is capable.

If you feel that investing in only one asset is not interesting enough, expanding your knowledge of the cryptocurrency will give your more power to spot valuable altcoins and blockchain-based projects. During the uptrend, many coins did x10 to x100 in a short period of time. However, making a wrong decision can vanish your investment. Therefore, always make a careful research on any investment that is not bitcoin.

Cheers

I am very curious about this because many teenager does not think about something that is new for them and you came here and ask about bitcoin. But congratulations, because you have your chance to have the best investment besides gold which is bitcoin.

Bitcoin still the best investment, not just because next halving or not because in crypto, bitcoin is the leader among the other. So if you can buy bitcoin periodically, no matter how much the money and you can keep it for one or two or even five year, you will see your investment value will grow. Although that we are not financial or investment advisors here, Bitcoin is likely the top choice for us to buy and hold until the next halving. As you can see in the previous halving, BTC did pumped a lot and it’s likely going to do that again because it increases the difficulty of the miners to mine a certain amount of BTC.

Discovering of this forum is another plus for you because your mates would probably joking around with the extra cash they have. You are welcome to the forum. The next halving probably will be close to 2 years and prices of coin including bitcoin is down, so investing right away isn't a wrong move. To invest, I suggest bitcoin to be a longtime hodl. Meanwhile other valuable coins are there in top rating in CMC, you can make a check for yourself.

I mean if you're basing it on the next Bitcoin halving, then I reckon it itself would be the best option? I'm kinda biased here ofc, but Bitcoin halvings have historically been times when the Bitcoin market has been rather positive, so yea go with Bitcoin. Though that is if you're going to invest now ofc, instead of on the date of the halving itself.

Outside of BTC though, then that's a bit more difficult. The span of time between now and the halving is still 2 years, there's going to be a LOT of coins coming in and out. You can probably profit off of some of them in the short term if you play it right, but that's like a lottery imo. I'd probably just DCA in Bitcoin tbh, rather than finding some coins to short.

You are 15 years old,so I don't think that the big crypto exchanges would be an option for you, obviously because of the KYC verification.
Where are you going to buy crypto, since almost all crypto traders and crypto trading platforms would require ID verification,in order to for you purchase cryptocurrencies?Do you really have any fiat money to invest?I would recommend you to stay away from any unregulated crypto exchanges and crypto traders, who claim that they would sell you any coins. There are scammers waiting for young victims like you.
The best investment for the next halving is obviously Bitcoin Core, but I don't know how are you going to buy BTC.Altcoins are just a waste of money and time,if you ask me.

If you are legally eligible to trade cryptos then you are welcome to the crypto world.

Regarding your question ,if you are interested for long term, then buying BTC will be a wise decision at the moment.
BTC has the long capability of getting profits in the future, so if you show interest now then it will be surely beneficial.

There's no other better investment than what you've said and that is with bitcoin. Two years from now, you know what's about to happen and while it's still not yet there, you can buy and choose the dollar cost average strategy until you accumulate that much.

As crwth posted, read 99% and ask 1%. Read as much as possible and discover first, then you have really good, really specific questions to ask.

The simplest way meanwhile also I agree with crwth. Buy every time, regularly, with as much money as you can. This is called DCA (you can look it up) and it the best way to get Bitcoin without spending time and resources.

You can go for bitcoin. After halving, all-time-high is possible.

You can go for some altcoins, but they are more volatile, have low marketcap, more risky and can be like gambling especially during bear market time which can lead to significant loss. What makes me dislike altcoin is because most of them will fall and never reach all-time-high.

But there is nothing not good to invest like 70% of your coins on bitcoin while 30% on altcoins.

Avoid shit coins, go for high marketcap altcoins if you want to go for altcoins. Most altcoins are shit coins.

First of all, welcome, Thiagofelipe! I hope you find the time to stay here and give some inputs or outputs here in the forum and, of course, use the search bar before anything else; maybe there are topics similar to your inquiries.

Anyway, I don't think age and your race would be a factor in having the long-term investment. You should have in mind why you are doing it in the first place and what plans you would have when you are older. I admire young people trying to think about their future immediately and people like you, who have this in their mind to be successful.

As for the Bitcoin halving, it's still best to get all the BTC that you can and make it your investment in the long run. As someone who believes in BTC, I'm biased towards it, but I think it is for good reasons.
