BTCguild has had some issues this past year, so I moved to ghash, here's what a single Antminer S3 would paid out on average (per day) on ghash: 0.015970749

Hey, is there any guild on ghash? I can't seem to start mining.
1) I don't see my workers.
2) Even if I use the Username.worker1 worker I can't see my hashing rate.

You can download their config which already have your settings...

BTCguild hasn't found a block in the last 5 hours, exept for 10 minutes ago.

You balance gets updated after the next block. (any block, it doesn't matter from which pool)

^Thank you for your advice. I've got one more question, though. How often does your BTC balance update on BTC Guild? I've been mining for 3-4h now, and I'm still at 0.00000000.

The pool will always stay the same, regardless which miner you use. It doesn't matter if it is an Antminer S1, S2, S3 or any other miner.

That's not always entirely true. There are situations where some equipment performs below expectation on different pools for various reasons.

My Bitfury rigs hate mining on Eligius. They don't get anywhere the hashrate that they do on BTCGuild. Previously, KNC rigs did poorly on Eligius so they had a special port that they recommended you use. Although I think that was corrected. And doesn't some current hardware have problems on P2pool?

But generally yes, the pool you choose usually doesn't matter.

I just got an Antminer S3 and wanted to use it as efficiently as possible. What pool do you guys recommend for that particular miner? Thank you in advance.
