Again, You need a router to get online unless you're getting multiple IPs from the modem.

You need at least a hub or switch to get it set up to begin with.

what is you time warner router address?  192.168.0.1  or 192.168.1.1?

if you have  a 0.1   you need your miner to have 0.xx       my guess is your router has a 0.1 ending and the miner has 1.99 or 1.something

Wht he said, I have TWC

It doesn't matter who your ISP is, you have to know some IP address basics to get a miner working.

Change the IP address of your computer to match that of your miner, log into miner, change miner IP address to match your home network, and then change back the IP address on your computer and you're good to go.

Adding another router will not fix it.  You would still be dealing with the all in one modem fromm TWC.

Call them and ask them if they do a "bridge mode" on their all in one say it's not working for you.   I had a all in one with a different ISP it was horrible router, mainly as its firewall and some protections could not be turned off which I needed to do on certain ports.

If they do bridge mode on the all in one it becomes essentially just a modem,  and you can use a router of your choice.

Just go on Ebay and get a simple, cheap Linksys WRT54G.

A router is a router. You don't need a specific one for mining on TWCable.

I used to have Verizon for Internet service. I move now I am using Time Warner Cable as my internet service provider. I am having trouble setting up my antminer s3+  with time warner cable service. I have try two different modem from the company and still the same problem. Time Warner Cable Modem have a built in router. Everytime i plug everything correctly and login to the router. The antminer IP are not listed but everything else all listed. I am thinking maybe it has to do with their stupid products. I want to know if anyone on here can help me fix this issue and get my miner rig up and running. Wish modem or router can I get at Walmart for cheap to fix the problem thank you
