It mostly depends on the exchange where you want to move the crypto from, an exchange is moving Bitcoin from Binance when you have to pay a ridiculous fee. However, if you're sending to an exchange that supported USDT in the BNB chain, you can make use of USDT, and if it is about moving the crypto using the cheapest transaction fee I will suggest you use Dash or Litecoin.

Yeah I'd recommend using litecoin for doing this as it might be the cheapest and have the highest volume/liquidity on exchanges.

A new litecoin block is mined every minute so the transfer should be pretty fast (should confirm within about 6-10 minutes depending on what the exchange requires).

On transaction fees, you should be able to look these up on the exchanges but they are very cheap.

But bitcoin on exchanges have its own multichain too, like BSC which would be of low fee. You can use this while sending from one exchange to another. But if you want to move your bitcoin to noncustododial wallet, you will need to use the real bitcoin address that only start from 1, 3 or bc1, all other chains are not bitcoin blockchain and not actually bitcoin but altcoins pegged to bitcoin price.

On noncustododial wallet, bitcoin transaction fee is good unlike on exchanges. I am not a Coinbase user, but I have used four exchanges before, there are some altcoins that required just low fee, examples are litecoin, or using USDT on Algorand, Solana, Tron or BSC chain, they have low fee.

You can try algorand for USDT but only few exchanges are supporting it.

What is the best currency to move cryptocurrencies from one exchange to another?

I mainly wanted to know the best way to move cryptocurrencies from Coinbase Pro to KuCoin..but if there are other better exchanges I would be interested to know as well.

I wanted to use USDT but I have read that the method of sending USDT is through the ERC20 network and due to the congestion of the ERC20 network the fees to send USDT are very high.

From what I have read Algorand or litecoin would be the best options to move from Coinbase Pro to KuCoin? how long do the transfers take and what would be the commissions. I wanted to send 5 dollars for now but in the future I would like to make larger transfers.
