Private investors prefer a project that is run by a recognised professional team. Just having a linkedin profile is not good enough, there needs to be a bigger trail to prove the team is real. Videos, interviews, and appearances at blockchain events are the best way to get private investors interested.
Yes, having LinkedIn profile for the project is not enough but it can still trigger the investors that reside in the country with the ICO owner but I think doing the talking and showing the people is the best way to trigger genuine private investors i.e attending the block chain and Crypto international events. First of all participate as much as you can in the blockchain events and present your projects ideas in attractive way to attract the investors. Your team must be verified and you must have good contents about your project along with good knowledge. To attract the investors you must be able to explain your ICO in lucid way like what problem you are solving? Why using blockchain technology?? What will be your business model?? If you really have good project especially you already have a start up big investor will comes to you. And if you really seriouse about your project. You need to attend to every blockchain event and describe your project to community. When you gain trust from community its easy to get private investor with big money. But please dont scam or you will goea to jail. Your project must be reasonable.
