Multibit is a lightweight client. Meaning: No downloading of the blockchain and ready to go in minutes.
Hi, thanks for the quick reply! So you mean that with other wallets you have to wait a lot? Because i ahve to wait sometimes when i am loading the blockchain with my multibit..not sure of the concept and how it works reallly ..i have to read more Smiley

there are some lightweight clients like multibit and electrum. Other clients like Bitcoin QT need to download the whole blockchain, this takes one week to first download it!

The loading is just the synching of your wallet.

Hello,
What is the difference between Multibit and other wallets for BTC? Which one is the best for now ? What are the + and - of all wallets?
Thanks!
