Just like Philipma outlined for you. The biggest thing is having a 240V outlet, as you will be drawing over 3000 watts with the bigger units. The machines are usually very loud and throw a lot of heat, so keeping them cool is essential. Your electricity cost will also be a factor, so see how much you are paying per kilowatt hour. Lastly they are very expensive so you have to do a lot of math to make sure you will get the return you want.

Okay. some questions to ask you are:
1) do you have 110/120 volt power or 220/240 volt power?
2) are you USA based?
3) what does your power cost?
4) how much heat and sound can you take?
5) what do you want to spend?
6) how much can you lose if you spend?
If you have 110/120 volt power you are limited to lessor gear.

most likely all of the above will lose money but can be pretty cheap to buy and run on 110/120 volt power.

Wrong.If you had bothered to read the start of this VERY short thread you would know that for many years now, BTC mining with a PC is beyond useless.

All bitcoin miners as of today come with their own software pre-installed with a web access and a simple GUI, you just need to enter your pool and worker details and start mining right away.
If you have any device that needs some sort of software then it certainly can't mine bitcoin in the first place.

The ones with algo: SHA265 can mine BTC (among other alts)
