I am newbie. Can anyone help me for giving me advise for earning some merit. What is the exact way to earn Merit? Please help me.

Instead of these topics you could ask how to create helpful, educative, informative post. From where many problem will be solved, many people will be able to learn more, many people would be able to gather more information. And if you could fulfill these then you could get merit.

Such posts have become toxic, you have to avoid such posts, otherwise you will have a hard time getting merit.

First you would have to stop making post about merit it can really affect your psych and make you obsessed. Become helpful to issues and try to make your own contribution

Either way, that's not how you earn Merit Tongue

Hey, I'd love to have my botty licked like that.

I tend to award merit on either whether a post makes me laugh, educates me, or makes me look at something from an angle I hadn't considered before. None of those require a high rank.

There seem to be lots of posts fishing for merit that feel extremely stiff and forced, like a Victorian gentleman courting some frigid bint.

It's much better to let things flow from your mind and fingers.

<…> I went through the merited post, but can't see why it was merited <…>
Well on the bright side of things, the post the OP got his one merit on (see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48224300) caught a buch of accounts that to me seem pretty obvious belong from the same puppet master, and that had crossed all their data when signing up on the thread for whatever it is they are doing there. He quoted the cases and they remain as proof.

If we now go over what he reported, we can see that all the reported cases have been corrected, so obviously the reported cases are all masterminded by the same person. The natural next step would be for the OP to take those cases to the reputation board and possibly that could lead to them being banned.

Sometimes people fake cases to get merit for publicly exposing them. I don’t think that is the case here, and I would leave it at that really, and give the OP the benefit of the doubt (there are further readings I can think of, but it’s really not the line of stuff I do here).

As a newbie, you need to learn first need to gain knowledge without having proper knowledge you will not be able to make a healthy and informative post that can bring you merits. So do hard work and try to learn basic things to make a brilliant post.

I would recommend you to see how these guys post,  The Pharmacist, Jetcash, LoyceV, Bill Gator, and Franky1 and there're many others but these names should suffice for now. Lastly do not plagiarise their words here and there, do your own research and then post a constructive post.
Just before you posted this, OP posted in my campaign thread. I've already deleted it because I don't believe an ass-licking endorsement from a Newbie:

Don't you have to earn Merit. The Merit will come to you automatically if you be a good, high-quality and helpful member on here. The Merit will be given by random forum members. They have to like your contents to give Merit. Then try to make high-quality posts and loyal member on here.

And also well deserved to me, s/he did a good job at spotting users using multiple accounts to try and cheat the system or something of that nature.
That just shows that you just need to put in a little effort and not have great, expert knowledge in order to get merited.

Aspiring for much higher ranks would require more research and learning. And in-depth ability to analyse and discuss in a particular board where you can become notable.

I am still now trying to earn merit but I fail always so thats why I want to know the exat way.
Judging by your post history, this is a lie, there is no exact way to earn merits,as merit awarders have different methods of giving out merits,it could be for humor, quality post, helpful comment etc..
It isn't something that simply comes without you putting in even one percent effort..
It's best you start today to be of help on the forum or you sure wouldn't be earning any soon

The problem is you didn't came here for discussions, and merits are mostly awarded if someone made a substantial reply that contributes to it. Read this Guide to earning merits and try to post in threads where there is actually a discussion;exchange of ideas going on, not just to some campaign threads or anything where you can earn monies.

Also, you can never go wrong in polishing grammar, its vital in expressing your ideas.

{   }

It's only proper that when you searching for a light through a part and it's futile you change part.

You have been really so much consumed by your merit hunting so much you getting obsessed and still no result to show from it.

Don't you think you just not doing something right?

With this you persistent merit post you creating a negative impression of yourself to other members(possible merited)  some might even have you on there ignore list

Merit is not as hard as you make it look you just not directing this effort in the right way. Take a break from making post just learn

The best way to earn merit is by not following the ways of trying to earn merit but rather work hard so that merit would be the one search for you. Obsession about merit can be lethal and can make you fall short of the forum rules

I figured so ... Looking over your posts, it seems you are in University in your country. What may be wise is to post accordingly here. As a university student, you should have the skills to perform research and write with a certain depth on topics. You should apply the same here on this forum in a sense, and start to build a decent posting history for yourself (avoid all those one-liner’s you’ve got as much as possible).

You tend to post in the Services section, which I barely visit, and can therefore not give you specifics as to what to do or not do in that section. Beginners & Help may be a decent enough section to post in, where you’ve only got a few posts so far (the Guide for Ranking Up you created went the wrong way, since you included information that is already on official threads and overdid the colour stylings).

You do not have to turn into an expert in a specific area overnight, but you do need to be a bit patient (your posting history only goes back one month; I took nearly two to get my first merit) and above all I’d say do what I stated in my first paragraph.

I am still now trying to earn merit but I fail always so thats why I want to know the exat way.

The idea is to keep trying, not to get merits directly, but to contribute more qualitatively to discussions and to impact others positively, the marit system was designed to encourage and reward quality contributions.

Also learn to use the SEARCH option, you can find lots of useful info on previous posts.

Edit: there is a thread not far below yours on this board which asks this exact same question. The reply you'd get here would be no different from those which has been made multiple times. .

Stop wondering what the forum can do for you, what can you do for the forum?

Look the reply of Jet Cash one of your previous thread as one of the members who capable of giving merits, base on here, definitely he's one of the merit source.

What a dreadful opening post. I hope any members hoping to increase their rank will learn from the mistakes in it.

- It is a tired old topic with no new information.
- The formatting is dreadful, and I didn't bother to read most of it.
- I see the merit begging has been removed, that is enough to get you put on ignore on its own.

Anyway - I put the OP on ignore, so no merits for him in my weekend merit giveaway.

And there are too many threads on how you can get merit just use google with the keyword "bitcointalk", but since you're a bit lazy posibly you can't get it even once or who knows when you will change your writing/posting tactics. I call it tactics since it's all depends on your knowledge on how you respond to any posts/questions or ideas you have.

I don’t get it. You created an OP a few weeks ago on how to rank-up (see Beginners Guide for Ranking UP), where you ventured on to how to gain merit, but here you are now asking how to earn merit?

Some merit related feature were commented there on your thread, so I’d suggest being a bit more specific on the issue you have.

I am still now trying to earn merit but I fail always so thats why I want to know the exat way.

This question was answered here hundreds of times, but I will repeat it to you. There is no exact method of earning merit. Merit is given to reward quality, useless, meaningful content submitted by users. There are some merit sources on the forum, who can send as much merit as they want, but the most of us get 1 sendable merit (sMerit) after receving 2 Merits from someone else. Although there is no guaranteed way to get merit, if you try to contribute to the forum, to interact with others in a way where you provide some value to others, then eventually someone will appriciate your efforts.
