Try flatbitcoin.com. You can buy bitcoin with paypal at a 20 % fee. You have to pay a one time membership fee of $1.99 but I tried it and I got my coins within 2 days, which is the norm with the trust basic level.

Sure, but some of them can be inconvenient or carry some risk, and some can carry higher fees.

Examples:

Look on localbitcoins.com to see if you have a local seller willing to meet up with you quickly and exchange cash for bitcoins face-to-face
Look on localbitcoins.com to see if someone in your country is accepting electronic payment for bitcoins
If you are anywhere near Chicago, meet up with me for a face-to-face exchange of cash for bitcoins at a rate 5% higher than the last Mt Gox exchange
Send me cash via Western Union (you pay the fees), and I'll send you bitcoins exchanged at 5% higher than the last Mt Gox exchange
Send cash (or U.S. postal money order) to my P.O. Box, and as soon as it arrives (pay for guaranteed overnight if you're in a hurry) I'll send you bitcoins exchanged at 5% higher than the last Mt Gox exchange

If you are in the U.S., you could also take a look at BitInstant (although they've been having some issues lately), Coinbase.com, and CampBX.com.

If you are buying more than 20 BTC at a time, I might consider reducing my fee below 5%.
