Evil beware: We have waffles!
Ja, however, set the 841 to low-power mode and in the More Options entry box use  --avalon8-fan 10-30  and it becomes a more efficient and quiet space heater. Will give 8.3+ THs and pull around 750w while being quiet enough for use in an office or TV room.

An Avalon 841 will run on 120V with 1-2 ATX Psu's that run off 120V. They are moderately loud and will burn about 1150W at 13+ TH/s. The Goldshell HS1 device mentioned above is strictly a "Hobby Miner" in the vein of small low power miners like the R-box.

The days of 120V mining are over for the majority of folks these days.  Sad

The only 120v miners that I know of are the Goldshell HS3-SE and Goldshell HS1-Plus.  The Goldshell HS3-SE is out of stock for the 120v version.  The Goldshell HS1-Plus can run off an ATX PSU.

If you want to run a btc miner and connect it to your pc which will be on anyway, then the best choices for you are GekkoScience Terminus pod miner or GekkoScience 2Pac usb stick miner.

No BTC 120 volt miner  is better than 80-85 watts a Th.

You can mod the s9 to braiins which will do about 800 watts and 10th.

Or you can give me the info I asked for to see if you can use a s17pro with brains using 1000 watts and doing about 40Th.

My dryer is a 240v dryer.  It has a 4 prong plug.  Circuit breaker is 30 amps.  I'm really looking for something I could plug into the 120v outlet and set on the desk.  It could also be something thats powered with my computer power supply since its always on anyways.

Please photo your dryer plug/receptacle.

Please photo your circuit breaker for the dryer.

Please photo the make/model serial number of your dryer.

It is possible that you can run your dryer and your miner.   Off the 240 circuit.

With the info above I asked for I can let you know.

If you get a miner the s17pro.

with vnish firmware set to 40th will pull 1000 watts.

the brains firmware on the s17pro is also a good choice.

The brains firmware is compliant with software code laws.
The vnish firmware may be in violation.

Ask kano about that.

Just have an electrician install you a 220V outlet or use that dryer outlet (an existing 220V outlet in your house?) you mentioned.

I guess I could run a miner off my dryer plug, but looking for the most efficient 120 volt miner.  Not sure what that might be?
