The most profitable altcoins to be mined with cpu depend on the price of altcoins and the difficulty of mining
the price of altcoins always fluctuating and the difficulty of coins always increased,
basically will be hard to find the most profitable altcoins to be mined by cpu but there are website that give estimation
the altcoins to be mined can be checker on https://whattomine.com/ to choose the altcoins.

i would say for CPU, prob zcoin. the reason being that its about a 1:3 ratio to GPUs on hashspeed, so i THINK that out of other coins like XMR, it's the closest ratio. You wont really find many CPU ONLY coins :/  XMG, but it does have SOME miners floating around i believe, maybe BSD? has an AMD miner but no Nvidia one, hmmm...Anyways, Good Luck finding one to mine! The same question has been mentioned plenty of times, CPU mining is unprofitable, no matter what coin it is, it will only waste your time and money by having your computer running 24/7. You won't be able to use the computer when it's mining while the energy costs will surpass your petty earnings. GPU mining is somewhat okay, if you are interested.
