Bittylicous is great but they've suspended Bitcoin purchases at the moment.

It's fine now but "Due to an issue with our payment service, there is a temporary minimum purchase of £75". Think it was just down yesterday with all the exchange panic.

localbitcoins is always good, as long as you find some reliable traders with good history.

Hey GAML, hope you find those Lindens! I'm glad that is useful to ya, but I can't take the credit for it - I read it in another thread and figured I'd pass it on.

What about Virwox?

You can use a CC/wire transfer to buy Second Life Lindens, which you can then immediately change to BTC. You don't have to have a second life account.

You can also cash out by wire transfer/skrill/paypal by doing the reverse.

More info here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/VirWoX

Please note that I have not personally used this, but it looks interesting.

Wow thanks.  I invested heavily into Second Life in the early days.  I used to trade Linden$ and generate Linden$ in world with various ventures.  I am going to check my accounts because I am sure I had a load of Linden laying around.  I never once had any problems with the linden dollar sites and I used them regularly for years.  Thanks again.

BTC-e so many stories of theft and coin that never arrives in wallet.

Many thanks.

It's not yet, but it'll probably go under sooner or later.

I thoroughly recommend Bittylicious. UK-based company, simple to use, and you'll have your coins within 10 minutes with a bank transfer. You can't use PP, but you can use Pingit or Zip-zap.

From my research the GBP friendly ones are Localbitcoins.com and Bitbargain.co.uk
I think the majority of sellers will be reluctant to accept Paypal, because it's too easily reversed
(and Paypal in general aren't to be trusted anyway imo).
