HODLing is an art, not just a word...
these tokens that you have in mind are either scams or terrible choices. in both cases you should stay as far away from them as you can. and only get involved if you want a very high risk investment which is more like a gamble than an investment and only trade them as a day trader abusing the pump and dumps. otherwise you are doomed to lose money.

people giving you the name of some shitcoin is not going to help you at all.

Airdrops aren't worth doing atall, you'd probably have to do 1,000 to make about $100. Not worth the time.

The easiest way to know if an airdrop is scam or not is do simple research which entails checking through the project website or telegram group to see if such campaigned airdrop exists, this is especially for existing projects. For new projects, it's a tad hard to know real from fake, but one to know is watching out for bogus amount of tokens being promised

My dear, there is no way that people can just tell you which airdrop program is genuine and which one is fake/scam. If we all knew, we wouldn't have been falling for them so easy. Most times, it is after you have participated and airdrop is over, that you find out that it's been a scam all along. You just have to do your own research and find out any that you are wiling to take the risk for.

go find a good airdrop that you are asking. you must spend your own time searching for an airdrop, everyone in this forum are spending their time to search and find a good campaign and airdrop, and you just want anyone to drop an airdrop for you?

As far as my current knowledge of encryption and understanding of airdrops is concerned, I can hardly tell the truth and falsehood of airdrops. I can't tell you the name of the airdrop token that is not a scam. I just suggest that you don't take time before you have a deep understanding. Wasted on airdrops

It is exacting to catch a positive airdrop jut. Now 90% of airdrops disposition not be administered whatever payments. To denote a positive airdrop project, you be enquired to cautiously celebrate its website and its project progress.

Airdrops do not require our investment. So even if we don't get the last coin, we don't have to be frustrated. After all, we have no financial loss. We just wasted a little time.

we dont do the crypto for all the day. so if we spend a time to joined on scam airdrops then we have wasted our free time also. so i think the time also like money. so we cannot simply say "no financial loss"

Are you kidding me? Who knows which airdrop is true and which is false? This is unpredictable in itself. You just need to participate in airdrops that you think are right. You can't ask them for free.

i also have the same problem. joined for 100 of airdrops for a week but received only 2 airdrops. wt a time waste. as i have seen here it is better to join airdrops which gives us to complete few bounties to earn the airdrop. correct me if i am wrong

We cannot judge whether an airdrop is a scam, so if you want to participate in airdrops, it is best to participate in high value, otherwise do not participate.

The one thing I've learned about bounties is to just have fun with it. I do it as a fun thing where I can earn more coins to add to my portfolio. But you have to do your research so you can make sure you're investing your time in a project whose coin is going to be worth something later. If not, your hobby is one spent earning nothing. ICODrops and BountyHive are good places to look for bounties. Bitcointalk.org is a good place to look for promising bounties. You can find others like Airdrops.io on Twitter. And you should be on Twitter.

https://icodrops.com/bounty-list/

https://bountyhive.io/

Right now, I'm having fun with bounties from AtomicWallet, a multi-asset custody-free wallet with Atomic Swap exchange and decentralized orderbook, and PRiVCY, a new privacy coin.

https://atomicwallet.io/token.html

https://privcy.io/

Like anything else in crypto, DO YOUR RESEARCH. If you have fun with it, you do better at it.  Smiley

I don't follow the airdrop since it was not interested in it. a scam that made the airdrop is getting left out because many people want certainty. If a few times already come across a scam probably should learn from the experience that exists so that it can choose a nice if the airdrop and paying for the future.

This is true but time is money..... spend time earning money then invest in things that multiply your earnings

So if you waste hours searching for airdrops, hours signing up for them and claiming ........better to spend that time earning and investing in good projects

airdrops are of course 99% scam there is no way to verify who is getting the coins you can be sure they are rigged

POW is the only real way to start a decentralised trustless project

it's very hard to know, and airdrops are not very profitable in my opinion, because this has become my own personal experience, just a few of the many aidrops I follow are ultimately distributed, others are not up till now, my advice is to focus on bounty only

Before you know the airdrop is legit the campaign was already been ended and the token was already released on exchanges, one way to know is to dig into the projects team and whitepaper but for the cost of a few bucks but the risk was still there, you will do such an effort? just move on then join other airdrops if you still want to participate, the majority are just requiring small tasks to accumulate the tokens.

I'm not quite sure about the so called "airdrop tokens" that you're referring too but the best token I've invested currently in that gives out airdrops is Pundi X.

I invested two months ago and received 2 airdrops already since they are paid out on a monthly basis.

All I've had to do is HODL them in my personal wallet.

DeepOnion was one that wasn't a scam; Minereum hasn't done so hot but it wasn't a scam. The current campaign I'm involved in, PRIVCY looks to be on the up and up. In reality, though, it's hard to say until after the fact. As long as you're not giving out personal information and private keys, there's no harm in signing up for an airdrop.

I'd suggest researching the coins website, ANN thread and social media presence like telegram, discord... Keeping your eyes and ears open for the red flags doesn't guarantee that you won't get had, but it's definitely a good start toward learning what you need to avoid. It's good to hear from another PRiVCY supporter that they believe in more than just the free coins.

You can follow the airdrop from Tokendrops, Bountyhive,
or maybe you can search airdrop from a reliable ICO that you can see on web rating like icobench.

I'm sorry for hurting you, most of the airdrop is scam, even if airdrop not scam their token also don't have value or only value a few bucks, some of them also need to complete KYC, why sold your information to them and receive useless token back? Invest or doing bounty, just choose one ...

Well, 99% of airdrop token today is scam but I would tell i’ve Enjoyed the real airdrops in the past which includes the likes of Rebellious, Polymath and the likes where we were given the token equally among the communities. I hope some other good airdrops would still come my way some days

You are right
actually we can not determine whether it is a scam or not. all they need to see if it's really an official project or not. then check out the project they are developing.

It is difficult to find a good airdrop project. Now 80% of airdrops will not be distributed any rewards. To identify a good airdrop project, you must carefully observe its website and its project progress!

One side you saying lot of airdrops are scams and other side you still willing to go for airdrops. I will advice you not waste your time to work for airdrops but use that precious time to join as much as possible bounty campaigns like Facebook and Twitter and work daily for that project and you will earn god money for that. And still you want to work for airdrops than go only for that  airdrops that have good ICO project. So that you can avoid scam airdrops.

What I advise you is that don't get involved in airdrop tokens at all. Even if legit, people usually dump free tokens. You will end up getting nothing. So, it is better to either get in bounties or learn and get started with trading. That way you can actually will be able to earn something good of cryptocurrencies. Don't wast your time on airdrops. Airsrop tokens aren't worth much.

Due to a huge number of the projects advertizing themselves many single airdrops have appeared. I for myself in general have drawn a conclusion that it is a useless waste of time because many airdrops don't work. Take part in qualitative baunt better and earn on it money.

I dont really see how airdrops can attract people here and they do go and work for them. They just pay you few dollars for that work but the job is very much tedious though people say its just few steps of work.

Anyway if you still want to join the airdrops which could be legit one then try to join all of them published by CSbounty services. Search for their telegram with that username and ask for the active airdrops and you will get list of 4-5 airdrops that are going on right now. Hope this helps you in finding your legit airdrops.

Some of the airdrop is not published by the project party. They collect data in the name of the official project. I've met a lot of such airdrop, too. If you want to know the true and false of an airdrop. You can see if the next project has released airdrops. If there is no obvious deception.
