Understood  Wink Thank you so much everyone !!

like the others, i will work hard to get merits and rank up
The end of a topic you want to get merit and rank up..
It doesn't matter though. For me, that's a good motivation for a beginner who has the intention to move up the rankings.
You will get merit from people who find your posts useful.
Pay close attention to the points that can bring merit.
Don't force yourself to do anything.

Thats right. You need spirit and confidence that youll be able to get merits but as advice mate, dont make it sound like you deserved to get merit on your previous post. You dont need statement like that cause if the post is meritable it will come your way without asking members that your post must have merits.

+ i had made some useful posts, well its 3-4 but still useful to the community!

Op, you've made 10 posts. which do you find most useful?
the app you posted in @fillippone thread also looks very pushy. it is not in accordance with the requested rules.

I know you are a newbie. you want to do business in the forum. but you have to read more first.
You should know, the more mistakes you make, the more likely you will be ignored.

And how long till I got Merits here?

I'm here for selling and gaining knowledge and i cant stay NEWBIE forever Sad
You can get Merits from your first post if someone believe that the post is much constructive or unique and send you Merits. But it's really quite hard work to get first merit for a newbie as they have to attract users because higher rankers always try to post constructively so you have to create your own place here.

+ i had made some useful posts, well its 3-4 but still useful to the community!

***This post not asking for Merits or something !! just for knowledge
You have to continue posting here which is informative then you can get some merits easily. So first work hard and keep staying with patience. Continues making informative posts will bring you good reputation as well as flow of merits. And never ask anyone to send merits which means Merit Begging or never trade it.

Hello Elders
What is that OP next to my profile name?
OP stands for the Original Poster or the one who create the thread this is newly added in the forum to have an identifier that you are the one who created the thread.

And how long till I got Merits here?
You will get merits once you contribute to the community this can be subjective or objective depends on the person who wants to give you that, check the pinned post in the Beginners & help. Every 2 merits you've got you can get a sMerit which can give to other people. Note: you cant do a self merit.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your crypto journey here. Taking for instance the question you asked about the meaning of op, I didn't know what it means, I only had an assumption of what the meaning was until I stumbled on a topic where it was discussed and that's how I got to know the true meaning. So my point is you can actually learn by asking questions and also from the response to the questions asked by other persons. Also, You get rewarded with merit for your contribution on the forum which is a requirement to rank up but you shouldn't chase it. Read more, learn more, improve yourself, make quality posts and the merit will come.

In as much as it would be useful, I would suggest that you check out this thread of listed terminologies in Bitcointalk and cryptocurrency. Do well to check it out

That's a good pointer, thanks! I wonder why newbies seem to not try hard enough to find such explanations themselves.
The forum has a search function and there's is https://ninjastic.space/search too, the latter being nicely fast.

Nice pointer, too. I didn't know that there's an explanation showing up when you hover over (OP).

Merits are given voluntarily and you'll have to leave it to the readers of your posts if they judge your posts worth some merits. I haven't read your previous posts and according to your cited words you sound like a cry-baby to me...
(I might be a bit harsh, but those words distracted me more than attracted me. Just my personal perception.)

Just as other members has said, op simply means original poster or rather original post. So it is added to you profile, when you make a new post.

I'm here for selling and gaining knowledge and i cant stay NEWBIE forever

I think you should focus on learning alot about Bitcoin and this forum, so you won't be misguided. Every member herewas once a newbie and their various contributions made them rank up successfully. So if you want to rank up and become a higher member, I would suggest you learn. And forget about merits. Merits comes when you make good useful contributions to the community.

OP simply means original poster. It helps other users know the original poster of the thread.

Other members will judge whether or not your posts are valuable, and if they are as helpful as you claim, merits will eventually be given.

Although you should be concentrating on expanding your knowledge rather than receiving merits, newbies are constantly more interested in moving up the ranks than learning.

I have gone through your posts. My advise for you is to look for people that are getting merit and check how they are posting.

Op, simply means Original poster or original post depending on how you use it.
According to OP question, it is called original poster, not original post.

Edit:
Op, simply means Original poster or original post depending on how you use it.

In your case, you are the Original poster (Op) of this thread, while your thread (the first post in this thread) is the original post.
Why did you edit this. I think my post is enough for the OP to understand.

If you just mention only "original poster" to the Op with its other meaning what do you think he'll think when it's used as "original post"? I don't see any harm in the Op learning how to use both of them appropriately.

As for the editing part, I was already edit my post before I saw your reply which means it was after I clicked "post" (after editing) that I saw your post.
