Steve Pieczenik has some choice words about Gorsuch (and neocons, Trump's psychology, etc, etc.)  Unfortunately it's an Alex Jones interview and the guy interrupts like crazy...especially when he is not terribly happy with the interview-ee's ideas perhaps?  Anyway, Pieczenik is concise enough in his presentation that a viewer can get something out of it anyway.

If Pieczenik's research is close to accurate, picking Gorsuch doesn't bode well for what Trump (or his handlers) have in mind for the direction of the country.  Roberts was rumored to be a die-hard corporatist while he was being considered.  When he was installed it became clear that the rumors were dead-on, and he outperformed even the more dire of the predictions.  There is no reason to be very hopeful that the same kind of thing won't be the case with Gorsuch.  Oh well.

If the democrats wanted to gamble they could always retire a different justice and make it a dual-nomination
Gorsuch + Garland but they probably think its worth risking 2020 and hoping people have 2020 on Trump ^^.

The Democrats can only blame themselves. They should have asked Darth Vader Ginsburg to resign, while Obama was still in the office. Instead of that, they were waiting for the Democrat majority in the senate. Ginsburg is only a few months away from death, and Trump is going to replace her with Ted Cruz.

I am glad a conservative is going to the Supreme and i hope some Liberal judges retire soon. The Liberals there are going to be the downfall of the USA.

They will die off, if they don't retire. The rabid liberal Ruth Bader Ginsburg is suffering from terminal cancer and is inching closer to death. Another liberal judge who about to die is Stephen Breyer, who is 78 years old. I hope that at least one of these two will die before 2018 December.

There is no problem with Gorsuch (at least for the normal people). But for radical leftists, his nomination will be a disaster. Their wet-dreams of having a solid liberal majority in the SCOTUS now lies in tatters.

But protesting, filibustering, or whining is not going to change things. Gorsuch will be put in place, and that's that.

"Liberal" seems to mean one that will side with whatever way the winds are blowing in the current liberal crowd.  In other words, a judge that's been bought and paid for.

That's what it's come to.

Why? (Not being sarcastic, given our past history)

You usually have tons of background information, I figure it's not different on your thoughts here.
